Yes. It's a long, strange, story - And keeps getting more weird! The plot thickens as they say. Ready?

IT started with Mitra Genie on Reddit - many here remember him. Good guy, aka Bama kratom, started a vendor operation under the Mitra Genie label and - I thought - had put up a website: http://www.mitragenie.com

Flash forward several months to MeWe - A guy signs on to MeWe calling himself Mitra Genie. OK. wait, there's already 1 of those here! This fellow is British and announces he's traveling TO Pontianak, West Kalimantan, where all our kratom comes from!

HE takes the domain http://www.mitrageniekratom.com -- OK. Now we're confused, but obviously it's 2 different guys. I looked up the Domain and both were registered within like 5 weeks of each other .. So just a weird co-incidence ? I call him the British Genie - he's been posting from over there. Yes!! Going up the Kapuas River in a boat to visit the Dayak natives in Jong Kong village!

But the story doesn't end there .. The story just keeps getting more weird .. First they BOTH have very good kratom! Right now, our American friend who goes by "The Real Genie", has more customers. Has a few reviews. I do think he's on to something ..

Then someone posted yesterday on MeWe - there's a THIRD Mitra Genie. Someone who had the domain originally like 4 years ago, and let it expire I guess? Well - thats too much for me. Pass the popcorn

Let me answer your question. Right NOW - Real Genie has more verified reviews, and more customers here. But NO website, he's working from MeWe. Contact him on MeWe = The Real Mitra Genie.

British Genie I just spoke to yesterday on MeWe - he's moved his website to Pound Sterling and is busy with UK accounts. That's his focus right now, but going forward - He does have a nice website. A couple of US contacts have received a Sample from him. I'd put him on your Watch List.

Fantastic, thanks for helping out. I was looking into this British guy since I am also a brit - he seems to have orientated his website towards British customers which is why i'm interested. He is quite inexpensive also as far as I can tell since I've not actually bought or taken kratom before. His website isn't clear in regards to his policies on customs seizures, so I'll email to find out.

Maybe I can shed some light on myself and my Endevours! A friend just brought this post to my attention. There are, or were, 3 Mitra Genie’s. There are now 2. I was a little dissapointed to discover this however I was reluctant to rebrand and migrate my website as I had already invested a moderat amount of money in my brand and website. I wasnt heavily involved in the Kratom community at the time of deciding on which brand I would move forward with, hence why I didnt discover the other Genie sooner. I opted to push forward as is, on the bright side it certainly has offered me some free exposure and marketting, as well as confusing some folks like yourself, and becoming the butt of a few jokes.

Basically I live in Pontianak with my wife who is a local Dayak, I decided about 5 months ago to set up a business selling Kratom. I discovered Kratom through my late friend Philip Gavin Swyden who sadly passed away here in Pontianak, it wasnt long after this I decided to set up my own business. I am still trying to figure out which direction I am going in, right now I have my website set up to target the EU consumer market. My pricing is very attractive as I get my product at cost, by ordeing direct from me in Borneo your guaranteeing your product will be farm fresh, however shipping typically takes 6-11 days so slightly longer than what you might expect if you were to order from an EU based vendor.

Right now I am in The Kapuas Hulu Region of West Kalimantan visiting small towns and villages that cultivate and produce Kratom. i want to get a better understanding of there practices and processes, then potentially investing some of my own time and money into production to ensure the Kratom I sell is contaminant free, completely organic and high in alcaloid content. Were looking at sinking some money into the build my supplier currently has underway for a hang dry room and powder production warehouse, having air tight windows and doors, fresh filtered water from the Kapuas river to clean the fresh leaf before drying and a UV clean room.

Im hoping if I can guarantee clean, consistent and top grade potent product, if I put the work in and really care about the Kratom that I sell, ill be able to get my wholesale Kratom business of the ground, I also have a partner in the USA who is currently using his own brand so we have stock there and are developing a website for his brand right now.

Everything is still a little up in the air but we are gradually starting to put everything together. There is a lot going on behind the scenes here in Borneo that wouldn’t be considered good practice for producing Kratom for folks in the West.

Mitra Genie Kratom is in Indonesia and is currently out wading through the jungles on a quest to compile a database of producers, farmers, villages growing kratom etc to Westerners. I've actually received some sample from different farmers that he has visited and am planning to order some bulk from him when he gets back to "civilization" and finishes the project.
