Insomnia

How have you learned to effectively deal with it? Melatonin does nothing for me anymore.

I have extremely bad insomnia as many here know at this point!! I personally have found that nothing works much at all in comparison to Mag Citrate and the right serving of Kratom Tea brewing and filtered with an Aeropress.

I recently started supplementing with mag citrate but I’ve been taking smaller amounts throughout the day. I’ll have to try just taking a large serving before bedtime.

I just started taking magnesium malate a week or 2 ago. How does citrate differ for aiding in sleep? (by the way Ace i bet my insomnia beats your insomnia  )
You don't want to hear the list of drugs, herbs, therapy ive gone through over the years to beat severe insomnia.

I have gone thru the same crap for over a decade.... But I can tell ya this.... I got 2 or 3 weeks with little to no sleep pretty regularly so ain't many with worse insomnia than me dude  And honestly, I don't know what the difference is between Mag Cit and Mag Mal, I just know that the citrate works very very well for me and is known to be one of best forms as far as absorption into the body goes!

Bruh i used to take a max dose of my wifes Ambien just to get a little more energy  I have to be close to trying every toxic sleep aid known to man over the last 25 years. Only had one that ever put a dent in my insomnia issues. Seroquel. And that shit is absolutely horrible and i have no clue how docs are aloud to prescribe that poison for sleep. If you know anything about it you understand how unbelievably sketchy the side effects and potential permanent brain damage that comes from using it. Only after taking it for 5 years did i learn the facts behind that drug.
How close to bedtime are you dosing the Magnesium? You feel like its helping you at all?

I typically dose Mag Cit about 20ish minutes give or take before my bedtime Kratom serving and then try to get to bed within 45 minutes or so of finishing my tea

I have horrible insomnia i have tried a lot of things over the years Ambien and lunesta i liked but really didn't work for long plus id have some very strange things that would happen eating and cooking pans in the sink wondering what happened they say ambiens structure is almost identical to dmt and people have reported some strange things the last two meds i was on was remron and syraquel combo worked good took me awhile to get used to the daytime hangover that with the anti depressants but i got off all the meds well quit going to the doctor and ever since i been doing kratom have not been on any meds my depression has all but disappeared which im greatful for i still have my days with it but it's not everyday but insomnia hasn't gone away i wish there was a herbal remedy only thing along herbals was melatonin and it does nothing but give me extreme migraines the only thing that really helped me consistently was alcohol but it also has bad side affects for me like destoys my life so I can't drink anymore would like to try the magnesium or maybe something else herbal something that works cause Insomnia is tough thing to deal with
