High Quality Kratom Not Working

I bought an 8-way split kilo from MitraMan after seeing tons of rave reviews. Somehow not a single strain works for me. Usually I take 6g doses but Ive tried 1-5g doses as well and they still don’t work. I’ve never had every strain from a vendor not work. Some strains I felt a hint of something but nowhere near full effects. Not saying anything against MitraMan as it’s clear I’m the outlier here, and he has quality product. Maybe it’s just my body chemistry. My question is, has anyone found a way to make kratom that doesn’t work at first work whether through potentiators, messing around with doses or some other method. I really want to try to make it work because if nothing else I spent a good amount of money on this stuff.

This begs the question - does ANY kratom work for you, currently? That's definitely concerning if 6g doses aren't doing anything for you.... it's probably a good time for a break, either way.

I tried my regular dose with my usual vendor and it worked fine. I also took a 2 day tolerance break earlier in the week. But another one can’t hurt I guess.

yep......if NOTHING works, then the questions move to other factors.

are you on medications?
do you take any supplements?
do you exercise and drink enough water?
how are you storing your kratom, how is it being consumed?


its one thing for one or a few to whiff out on personal chemistry, but to be totally unable to feel kratom at any dose from any vendor is very obviously not a kratom problem.


worst case is you can put it up on the trading post, trade or sell it. recoup most of the investment. MM has been killing it this summer imo....you likely have a couple vied for batches in your 8-way stack

I can feel kratom from my normal vendor and some new stuff I just got from Benni’s. Just not the MitraMan stuff. I also took a tolerance break earlier in the week.

When I get strains that don’t work, I usually try the following before giving up on them.

- try them again 2-3 times, after some time has passed.
- try mixing the new strains with one another or existing strains.

I very rarely have any strains or batches that don't work unless they are just plain trash. I have had Mitra Mans powder and found it to be very good. Have you tried other potentiators and or red bubbles. I blend many strains and vendors this helps my tolerance immensely.

Definitely try them two or three more times. i have had many selections not hit hardly at all or not be that great on the first attempt and then on the second or third give me glorious burns. If they dont hit for you after a couple burns apiece then i would definitely suggest just selling them on the trading post if you are eligible and trying something else since you did say that your regular vendor is still hitting for you.

how are you storing your kratom, how is it being consumed?

I know I’m in need of a t break but I’ve been wondering if my lack of air right containers may be contributing to the loss of effects I’ve been feeling this year. If it’s all otherwise being stored in a cool dark dresser, how much of a difference would containers honestly make?

I had that happen to me when I first started taking TFH strains. It didn’t hit at all for me, but once I incorporated it into blends and started getting my body used to it, it hit really nice. But it took me almost two weeks before I felt a solid burn from it. Prior to TFH I was using smiley time and Benni botanicals. So I was confused why a quality Kratom like TFH wasn’t working. But I guess it’s the chemistry getting confused by the new alkaloids. Maybe, I’m not a scientist heehee. That’s what it took for me though before the quality goods started working! Yeah, that's a sign the stuff doesn't really agree with you. I haven't had MM except for one strain, so i can't imagine it's bunk overall, but you might have just been unlucky with body chemistry relating to his strains. There's a couple great vendors that seem to work for everyone if you want some other suggestions.

You might also try to potentiate it. My favorite is the Heat+acid method.

I recently got MitraMan's Batak, PMD and Super Green and can say it is some of this summer's finest greens, especially mood (at least for my chemistry)
I think I would be pretty disappointed if all eight were not happening.
Seems that MitraMan reached out and is willing to work it out, that is good service!
If you like Greens, try the Batak, PMD or Super Green.
I would give a batch number but unfortunately MitraMan does not provide, maybe MitraMan will provide batch numbers in future? Would be nice!
