Texas Family Harvest Strains For Energy?
Hey,
Just looking for input on which strains sold by Texas Family Harvest would be good for energy?
Thanks in advance.

Green Elephant Kali, White Horn, Wild Crafted Rocket Red, Green Hangat Suma VSOP, 30 Year Wild Super Green, and Deep Jungle White Bali have all been good energy strains for me, especially when I dose them on the lower side (for me, that's around 1.4g - 1.8g).

Re: Texas Family Harvest Strains For Energy?
This is a good list of "faster" batches in my opinion. The White Horn seems to be the most energetic to me of the remaining whites but I also like the PWMD. Everyone seems to be a little different tho so take that for whatever its worth.Supersonic75 wrote:Green Elephant Kali, White Horn, Wild Crafted Rocket Red, Green Hangat Suma VSOP, 30 Year Wild Super Green, and Deep Jungle White Bali have all been good energy strains for me, especially when I dose them on the lower side (for me, that's around 1.4g - 1.8g).
The Super Greens are excellent and the Rocket Red is excellent. The Yellow MD and Sunrise Suma are also great for an evening boost in my experience without feeling over stimulated before bed.
Also, a lower serving size will focus more on the energetic properties of the leaf. Pushing it up in the higher levels will still work but seems to be more mood focused in my opinion.

agree agree and agree. the rocket red is also in my top 5 daytime reds. really seems like theres never a wrong time to use it.
also for me, the 30 yr wild white, the green kampung, and the green maeng da all provide good energy the way I like. Their White Hulu Kapuas is also very nice.

In my opinion, it is a very unique red. It surprised me the first time as I expected it to be more like a "pink" strain. If you are like me and deal with chronic pain and chronic fatigue, pinks help alot but there is always a put and take. The Rocket Red provided more pain releif than the pinks I had concocted to keep from getting drowsy on the job. It also didn't make me drowsy at all. It's a wonderful batch in my experience.Spencemastaflex wrote:Interesting, for my friends and I - rocket red has not worked at all
Mix it with a yellow or a green and it really expands possibilities for me. I re-upped to a larger quantity immediately after my 2nd experience with it. I don't have any other batch like it currently and I tend to over use it (I either need to buy more or layoff for a while).
Everyone is different and many of us are seeking a different combination of effects from this magical leaf. So my experience certainly isn't what others may want or need. Sure works wonders for me along with 86% of every TFH batch I've purchased (I keep stats on many different vendors and personal batch results including hits/misses, stimulation/relaxation, percentage of fire, vendor specialties over time (Whites, Yellows, Greens, Golds, Reds, etc. etc). However, everything changes over time. It's just my personality and how I prefer to process some decisions.

I also use kratom for chronic pain and chronic fatigue (so does my mother), and you're so right about the tricky balance between getting enough to help with both pain and energy at the same time. "Pink" strains have always been hit or miss for me, with more misses. Rocket Red is perhaps my favorite daytime red ever (it's in top 3 for sure)! I stocked up on it because good daytime reds are so hard to find (I think I decided to stock up after trying it 2 times like you as well haha I knew it was a winner almost immediately). Rocket Red has pain relief, energy that promotes wakefulness, and long legs.guitartodd77 wrote:In my opinion, it is a very unique red. The way you keep stats on vendors is very smart! I keep notes but never thought to have statistical breakdowns like what you mentioned. Great idea
As to TFH strains for energy: Green Elephant Kali and Green Kampung are incredible! I wish I had gotten a bit more of each. They both hit so well every time for me, and get me moving and in a productive mood, and both have pain relief too!!
White Horn and Blast-Off Bali were standouts as well.

Wild Kali SG, Wild SG Sumpur, Premium Green Maeng Da, Elephant Kali, Wild Harvest Premium Maeng Da, Deep Jungle Green Hulu
Pretty much all of the Supergreen variants have been energetic for me as well. The Deep Jungle Green Hulu is my newest batch, and it's really, really good!

How often do you take your 1.4g-1.8g doses? I usually take about the same amounts with about all my tea and did lower with TFH's. I got 3k the one and only time I ordered, mostly greens, the mellow yellow and yellow Aceh, oh and the Wild 30 yr red. Sadly, most don't do much for me so I was/am disappointed but I keep rotating and some days it's a Good one! I've been dosing for 3 yrs for Chronic pain, and the benefits of focus and energy are a huge plus. Whites for the most part make me very tired and I use the smallest amounts! No complaints, it is what it is.Supersonic75 wrote:Green Elephant Kali, White Horn, Wild Crafted Rocket Red, Green Hangat Suma VSOP, 30 Year Wild Super Green, and Deep Jungle White Bali have all been good energy strains for me, especially when I dose them on the lower side (for me, that's around 1.4g - 1.8g).

Interesting! I’m sorry that your TFH batches don’t hit well for you. They definitely agree with me and they’re my favorite vendor.thesonsangel wrote:

I take those doses 2x per day (morning and evening), and sometimes dose around .8-1g in the early afternoon (usually a white) around 4 hours after my morning dose, after reading an interesting post about Kratom half - life that Shaun from F. Flora wrote a few months ago. That dosing schedule works really well for me. Like yourself, I use Kratom for pain and energy and my current schedule does the trick (and I’ve been using Kratom for around 2 years now). I used to dose higher and more frequently - 2.5g/2g/2.8g, sometimes with a little "booster" in there for a total of around 8+ g per day. But a few months ago, those doses made me either tired or did nothing for me, so I did kind of a rapid taper, took a few days off, and came back to the lower doses (I wrote about this in an earlier post recently). I think I’m due for another little tolerance break, though.
You probably already know this, but I’m sure you’d have no problem getting rid of whatever TFH leaf you no longer want on the MM trading post! Hope you find a way for Kratom to continue working for you; at this point I still find it so helpful.

Re: Texas Family Harvest Strains For Energy?
I hope I am answering you right Supersonic, I haven't been on is so long I forgot how to message back so I guess I'll see if this goes well! I am where you were in that I am now up to between 71/2-8 1/2 g a day. Today is 9g at 4:15pm due to pain and sooo tired, lack of sleep, (3 1/2-4 hours) at night) and that is past my allowance for myself. I guess I am due to "rapid taper" as you called it, for 3-4 days and come back to lower doses. Last time I did, I was right back to 6-7g a day within a week; trying to get energy. Thank you for your reply back and my apology for taking so long to respond back to you. Yes, I can go to Trading Post but never have, yet! Would like to find some of that Rocket Red or a Real Good Day Red that gives energy as well as kicks the pain. I use RMD and/or R Vietnam most for pain and energy when the greens don't work as well and whites I have make me more tired than energy. Funny how we are all different with kratom. Have a blessed day ya'll!Supersonic75 wrote:Interesting! I’m sorry that your TFH batches don’t hit well for you. They definitely agree with me and they’re my favorite vendor.thesonsangel wrote:
