Okay, so I’ve come to the conclusion that kratom makes me very bloated. I’ve also noticeably gained belly weight since I started taking kratom in July. All this time I thought I was just gaining quarantine weight, but I’m pretty sure it’s the kratom. It might also be the fact that I’m drinking orange juice with my kratom (high fructose can lead to belly fat). My stomach feels gassy and big, especially at the end of the day. I’m currently at 20 grams per day (5 grams per dose, 4x a day).
Does anyone have any advice for easing digestion with kratom? Is there also a better way to potentiate kratom besides juice, a way that doesn’t have high sugar/fructose levels?
Thanks guys!

Re: Kratom with belly fat & bloat
Couple things can help.
If your digestion halts (which is common with Kratom) it can leave you feeling bloated. To get your track moving, I'd recommend Magnesium. I take it every night before bed, and it helps to "unclog" in the morning. Also helps me sleep better. You can google the different types of Magnesium supplements, but I take about 500mg each night.
Depending on your life-style, making time each day for exercise will help with your digestive track 100%. I think if you taking 20g each day, you are probably getting backed up, hence the bloating and pronounced belly. Even though appetite may be suppressed, it can feel like a brick sitting in your belly. Make sure to sweat a little each day, and it will get moving.
For potentiation, there are a lot of good options listed on the forum if you check the search bar. But besides OJ, you can make tea and add a little lemon juice, or use cumin with piperine about an hour before your dose. This is a win win in your situation because cumin is a natural digestion booster, as well as a potentiator. They sell cumin and piperine together as a supplement in most vitamin/drug stores.
