Some of the best kratom I've ever had was from...a smoke shop

Now of course I don't condone buying from smoke shops, I haven't bought from one since like 2019. But damn there were some batches I bought that were so strong they were either spiked or just crazy good quality. Like better than anything I've ever ordered online, and I've tried many different vendors. I would say 9.5 times out of 10 it was average or shit kratom, but those other times were something else. Only some Jade Bali from TFH in 2020 has come close for me. Anyway has anybody else experienced this or have an explanation?

Probably because you were new to kratom, I was the same way. After about 6 months and switching to small online vendors (Sosa at the time) I realized how crappy the headshop stuff actually was.

And even if it was really good, I cannot justify the prices. I was paying like 50 bucks for 54 grams .

I don’t need to catch crazy buzzes every dose, but I do need to have a constant supply on hand

That Jade Bali is something. I've got a TAAAAAAD bit left and I love it. It was Choice Kratom, right? In those tiny little 15 gram cylinders? For fifteen bucks? Hahaha! Yeah, that was good stuff! Also Krave was good too. 25 for about two ounces I think. I wish I still had all of those little cylinders for work. Haha! I can't complain though, thanks to that shit, I'm completely off of opiates and have been for a long time.

When I first tried kratom about a year and a half ago it was from a local smoke shop. Remarkable Herbs, OPMS, and Happy Shaman. A few of them were incredible (for some reason OPMS whites hit me like a brick), yes mostly because I was a newbie. This is all I knew until their stock dried up a few months ago, maybe due to supply chain issues? Not sure why but their shelves were bare. Luckily I had enough back stock to get me through for a bit. I got home and searched for “best online kratom vendors” and the usual large batch suspects came up. I ordered from Kats and HH and thought (bc google told me) they were the best out there and stuck with them until they fizzled out for me. Some hit, most were absolute duds. Luckily my world and life changed when I was introduced to the vast array of small batch companies! This is one instance that I am thankful for supply chain issues! Had my local shop not gone dry, I’d probably still be stuck with head shop garbage. I’d like to thank everyone who contributes in this forum for all of the expert advice, reviews, and just all the love that is shown in this community!

There is a place by me called CBD Kratom. I was taken of my regimen of PK over night. My pain clinic got shut down. I went to this place and picked up some red md and it was awsome. I think it was due to being new to the leaf as others said. This was also 60 for 50 grams. Crazy expensive. I wanted to go back and pick up a small bag to just see if it was that good. But that was about 3years ago and it seems this stuff changes over time and batch.

Yes, CBD Kratom is a complete rip-off IMO. Feel bad for people who buy there and do not have knowledge of so many good vendors found online. I bought my leaf in headshops and stores like that the first few months of use. Sucker I was!

I'll never buy kratom from a headshop or convenience store again, but I'll tell you...I'm glad that those places exist, because that's how I tried it for the first time over a decade ago and started down the path to the online kratom community, and I think that's as good of a starting point as any. at least I was able to try it and the quality was good enough to leave an impression on me. if not I probably would never have looked much into it, things would be a lot different now. yes, it's absolutely overpriced at those places and I don't support them now, nonetheless it lets people who wouldn't have otherwise tried kratom a chance to see the good it can do.

After going small batch, and getting so much fresher kratom I could never go back. When I think of headshop kratom, and how old it smells, and taste I can’t believe they still have the nerve to charge more for it. To each is own but I love small batch. The fact that you can get high quality potent, and fresh kratom at a cheaper price makes the decision to never go back to subpar kratom easy. I mean when I can actually ask questions about the leaf, and the vendors themselves take their own leaf it takes some of the guesswork out. Not all of it but it is a great help. It still amazes me how much care some of our wonderful vendors put into their leaf; so thank you.

I was on the go yesterday and forgot my kratom at the house, I grabbed a bottle of Club 13's "white Indo" started with a low dose for me around 6- 1 gram CAPSULES at that! I was fairly impressed

There's a kratom supplier near me called Element Kratom and all of their stuff totally smacks, even with months experience using premium stuff.

If its good, its good.
