When do the best batches typically pop up? I know some months seems better to me and with it being a plant I imagine there is a particular season for Kratom right?
The deceptively simple answer is, when the dry season harvest is available from your vendor. Consider that ship times are more staggered accd. to some vendors. Many taking long time.
Exerpts from personal experience occurring different times:
Worst accd to conventional wisdom: Winter - true gems have been for sale in December. The best luck I've had with whites came mid winter but I wouldn't urge you to
wait until winter to get your fast & slow whites. I'd say do it when you feel like it.
Last summer - Late, (it takes time to go from branch to branded bag) Was the first time I concentrated end of July through Sept and did pretty well.
But that was not this year and this year has been unusual accd to what I've read
Later I read that some felt they'd had terrible luck through the summer last year. So...
I started earlier this year and results are staggered- is it season related?. See for yourself:
- June- the little guy, pvt group Excellent Love 4 out of 6, made something great w/ #5 & almost achieved that w #6
- Late June STH just bc my acct. has been cold for 3 years. Good, a fast productive, a fast-mod that's a bit U4ic , 2 slow quite relieving greens but pretty similar. All useful & satisfying for what they do.
- July (recent) what the hype crowd & fire chasers carried on about (other site mostly) This broke my mojo - 1 is still the Worst I've had thus far so maybe it's dry season starts in August!
If you try too hard it might translate like this: Maybe we get dry season leaf up until end of June. Starts over in August. Skip July.
But climate varies by year, location...
Here's another way to see it accd to this page:
