How to test Kratom to see if it has flour in it?

Hello all,

I have been using Kratom for pain for a while now and the company I use MIGHT be using flour in it, to rip customers off. Its bought in Grams. You can buy 25g's, 50g's, 250g's etc. etc.

Another person, on their reviews said that they have been getting flour in their packaging, to increase the weight. Ie. 50% kratom and 50% flour (to con their customers).

Is there a way to test this powdered kratom to see if it has flour in it?

They are Gaia Ethnobotanical or mitragaia.com

Oh no, not gaia. They've been widely written off, between the salmonella episode and their quality dropping. I've only seen negative things about them in the past year, mainly about their kratom being garbage. Maybe it does have flour in it, and that's why it's bunk. Do yourself a favor and check out some of the vendors here in vendor and strain reviews, you can do a lot better

Edit: just search gaia in the search bar here, there are some recent reviews about them

Thanks for the reply! Im sure thats why ive had to increase my dosage over the past few times. Ive maintained my normal dosage without any problems and over the past few times ive used them, ive had to increase my dosage. Thanks for the heads up! Ill definitely check out the vendors here!

And yes I do. Or at least did. I never knew they were so unliked. I only seen 2 reviews on google, so I really didnt think it was a big deal (since it was only 2), but now im definitely going to be using someone else.

Gaia probably does sell flour. Wouldn't surprise me one bit.

But just as likely just low quality leaf. I can't see them doing much in the way of quality control.

They've made themselves the butt of a lot of jokes in the community by having bad business practices.

Has anyone actually mixed kratom with flour to see how it would turn out? Seems like it would drastically change the color. And when mixed with liquid, you'd easily be able to tell.

I'd do an experiment but I don't really have enough to potentially waste.

Looks like kratom to me!

Looks good and taste exactly like kratom




Spoonful in cold orange mango juice




Can see small particles of flour

lets not forget that its by hand mix, what if its machine grinder, will flour show? any vendors can test this? with pics?

Just got off shift today! Ended up getting called into work the other night and have been gone for like 36 hours lol (work Fire/Rescue). Tomorrow ill be going to the store and after that ill do the test! Needed to sleep today, I was exhausted LOL.
