Kratom in the lungs for T&Ws?

not moldy at all. I usually get it all down and don't choke, this is a recent thing, like started last week.

I’d ask a dr and take anything you’d hear on here with a grain of salt, sounds like it could be serious

KEY to Tossin' and Washin'.... Take a BIG Breath, first - HOLD IT - Then place powder on back of tongue & quickly wash down.

NEVER breathe IN - with dry powder on your tongue!!! AND - for ME - a Limit of Half a Gram.

I'll toss a Half Gram of Extract that's already been sanitized ... Never eat Raw Powder.

I could never t&w. I mix it with a little juice in a gatorade bottle, shake it up and drink. much easier that way; no risk of inhaling dust, and the juice covers the taste.

When my daughter was a teenager she use to do that all the time(she has never used kratom). She told me she would cough up little white or cream colored rocks that she could mash with her fingers. I was freaked out and took her to the doctor and was told it was no big deal just tonsil stones.

i agree this was my method for years, but now I love the taste in cold water....... My mind has grown to love the kratom in water some taste funky still tho lol....

I put a shot glass worth of water heat till boiling, then add kratom, then when cool take shot and chase with something strong, Tang or Oj. I got worried about salmonella, or other things that could be in it, so this should kill anything, plus for me this goes down way easier.

Very interesting. I thought I've heard everything but lately hearing about things I never heard of (or don't remember) like tonsil stones! So googling. Sounds like what he might have but maybe if you don't know you have them they can get in the lungs? I would definitely go to a doctor to check it out.

You're better off this way. Increasing risk is worse than no risk management. Not soaking leaf powder is delaying the extraction / alk bleeding process & increasing odds that it clumps, repels liquid for a time longer. Why would that be good?

Well kratom for me personally is just to unpalatable to my taste to toss n wash. I also feel that capsules are a pain unless it’s extract I’m capsuling. Oblates have served me well so I think if your worried just go with that as an option, or put In a liquid like others have said though I can’t stand drinking it either. The main issue is are you breathing alright? If you are then your lungs could just be coughing up things that are bad for your lungs. You should still see a doctor but if your breathing okay it could just be your lungs expelling toxins that accumulate in the lungs over time.

I've used Kratom nearly 6 years and I have never been able to handle the taste. It honest to God makes me want to barf. I use to makes capsules until I found Blate Papes and I love them so much. Makes taking Kratom a breeze and I don't have a mess of green powder all over everything like I did when I would make those damn capsules

I hate the taste of Kratom so much I can't even do the oblates - plus, at my advanced age, that sort of dexterity is just WAY beyond a possibility.

However - I kind of like making capsules. I get into a zen zone with some music or a movie playing in the background and soon a few hours has passed and I have a couple thousand of them. I really look forward to doing it nowdays (the DW not so much, although I do clean up - she kind of hates me doing it).

Tonsil nuggets! You’ll know for sure that’s what you’ve got if you pinch one between your fingers it smells AWFUL. They’re nothing to worry about and are normal for some people. Both my daughter and I get them from time to time.

Just thought a little warning was appropriate... inhaling plant powders, whether accidental or on purpose is something you need to avoid at all costs. You may think it won't be much of a problem, especially if you cough it up right away. I got news for you. It'll mess you up big time. It causes farmer's lung, an incurable disease, & expresses itself as COPD. My wife & I raise kiwi fruit & the outside skin has a covering of fuzz that has to be removed. I was doing the fuzz removal & dumped my bucket out. The wind blew those particles right in my face when I was inhaling. I coughed for about 15 minutes & it would subside & come right back. I started taking gobs of Robitussin so I'd cough up huge amounts of liquid to flush that stuff out. I got sicker fast & ended up in the ER. It permanently damaged my lungs. Now I have COPD just like in the commercials, have to carry my emergency kit on me at all times & breathe steroid mist twice a day. Do yourself a favor & find a different way to take your kratom. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

This is my personal thoughts, doesn't mean necessarily is true. If you inhaled dirt after mowing some grass or in general get high winds with dirt or just putting any kinda of powder in the mouth and inhaling by accident, i noticed what helps is, very hot shower, it builds up all the nasty strait to the nose for you to blow. Hot bath or even sauna if you got one near by. I came to this conclusion by often mowing grass and always get dirt in my lungs and all over me. Each time i took a hot shower it always has build up all the dirt up into the nose. Once blown, easy to breath and felt good. When i use to work Fedex unloading the dirty ass trucks, i would literally have black everything when blow my nose. I would get home take a hot bath and that would help me clear it out.

I would never breath if i have dry powder in the mouth, i would hold my breathing and right after putting powder into mouth would really fast drink liquid all over kratom powder and swish it around until all wet, open my mouth and what ever air have in me blow the rest out just to test and make sure there is no dry powder left. then i just add more water and swallow all the wet powder down. Of course it better to do it in a drink and mix it but when in hurry , it worked good for me.
