I want to congratulate RVA for winning The CapKratom Platinum 5 Star Diamond Award of Excellence!!

One time another vendor called me when they realized they made a mistake because something was mislabeled in their shipment. They called me BEFORE I called them. They replaced a 1/2 kilo and told me to keep what they had sent. That is customer service and RVA is in the same class.

Most vendors will bend over backwards to take and keep a customers money. Usually that is where it ends. What if there is an issue - is it corrected? How easy was it to be corrected? What if there is more than 1 issue?

I like to buy Kratom and mistakes occasionally happen. I have heard BS (from vendors I no longer do business with) and vendors have also asked me to ship stuff back and they will replace and that is fair.

On my end, I don’t want to go through the trouble of shipping something back. I usually just ask for a recommendation so I can buy more. Like everyone else buying good Kratom is what I want. We have a lot of Kratom on the shelf so one more is never a big deal.

This last month we had 2 things come up on orders from RVA. I do not want to call them problems because they were both corrected so there is no problem.

On the first one I sent an e-mail and photo and was told we will send out the right product no other questions were asked. I sent another e-mail about something a few days later and was told - No worries we will correct it - no questions asked. So I had 1/2 a kilo of product replaced. No excuses.

They have a $70 kilo shipped and it would be easy to give subpar customer service. People would still buy. I know because I do not go to Wal-Mart for the customer service.

I have seen a few negative threads about RVA the last few months and it is good to read about the experiences of others.

In my experience, RVA is first class and I would recommend them to anyone without reservation.

I had a very similar situation to this happen with Chistophers Organic Botanicals. An issue happened with the product I had received and without question, he sent new product and told me to keep what I already had. Chris is genuinely a nice dude.
It is good to hear there are other vendors out there with this kind of customer service. What keeps us all coming back, in my own personal experience, is the quality of the Kratom. How is the leaf that you get from RVA. I am in need of crushed leaf and they seem to be one vendor with crushed actually in stock. Might throw in some powder with my order too if I know what is good. There are a few recent posts of how their reds are extremely weak but im looking for greens.

Hey, just created my account, and figured I’d make my first post somewhere to get some posts under my belt. Been a kratom user for around 3+ years, always the best strains I can find from the best vendors. I consume around 20g daily, though occasionally sway upwards of 30g (or as low as 12g). So this site is exactly what I needed, to be able to both post reviews, and stay up to date on the best vendors.

Anyways, what’s the platinum 5 star award you speak of? Is this an official thing? If so, wow. Very cool that herbal rva won of all vendors, considering their also among the cheapest (if not THE cheapest) vendor I’ve been able to find for shipped kilos. Like, 70$ shipped kilos, great customer service, AND a kratom award winner?! Lol.

I actually just put my first order in with them two days ago; ordered a split kilo. So I’m glad to see this post; reassurance that I made a good choice. I got 2 PMDs (for some reason I felt like it was gonna be good), one royal bent, and a Red MD. I intend to post a review as soon as I receive and try all of them.

Hah, no it's not. But if it was they would certainly deserve it. The most reliable of all vendors, and the cheapest split kilo price. They could easily charge more. Even during these uncertain times they not only have stock, but still quite a variety. PMD is a good choice, it's a strong faster green. It usually sells out the quickest. I also have some Royal bent and red MD incoming, I'll be interested to see what other people think of these batches.

So have there been shipping delays lately with USPS? I’ve actually never had a package delayed in 3 years of kratom ordering (lucky me I guess), so I’m not sure if that’s what I’m experiencing.

My package has been “in transit” for 3 days now, no updates since that last scan. Is this just a normal package delay or something more serious? What does your tracking usually show during a delay... just a several day gap without scan updates? Or should there be a message somewhere that says it’s being delayed?

This time of year is the busiest for shipping, so expect delays. Also the weather in some parts of the USA is not that great and could create delays.
USPS tracking system is not the best. I've had items say they were some place else yet they were delivered to me.
Some days my mail doesn't show up until almost 7 pm, and I'm not in a rural area.
If your package is stuck more than a few days somewhere, it either wasn't scanned when it left that facility or there is a problem with it and you should contact USPS.
I hope you get your package soon.

We have bought more red maeng da than anything, followed by red borneo i can say at least, and i still have no definition of what "maeng da" is.....besides "better", even tho it isn't always.

We have to differentiate between packages crossing fire/flood zones and those that aren't.
USPS has been listing delays over fire/flood and they did shut it down that day over bush.
(For me? Don't do something that screws up shipping and people hate. Have a day of no parking citations or something.)

Fire, Flood, Ice and maybe skirmishing is going to cause more delay times in the months ahead. Guess I might as well start "psychologically" adjusting to that as a given

My tracking finally updated today, after 4 days of saying ”in transit to next facility”. It is now in my city, so I assume it will be delivered tomorrow. So I guess the package was just stuck somewhere for a few days, not sure why but all good now.

I’m looking forward to trying the strains from RVA.

I’m actually looking forward to this moreso than usual, because I’ve been stuck with a real bad batch from Herbal Salvation for the past month and a half. I feel like it’s been ages since I had a good burn.

I ordered a kilo from HS, and in a separate order I got a 5-strain variety pack. So two separate orders from HS within a few days. This was in late October.

For the Kilo, I got all one strain (I know bad idea). It was GVB, and honestly it’s almost completely bunk. If I take a higher dose, it “does the job”, but there’s just nothing pleasant about the experience.

The 5-pack had a few good strains, but the Green Hulu was literally unusable. I mean, I think it’s unsafe. Tastes horrendous, definitely some sort of pesticide on there. It’s an extremely over-powering, nasty taste that just clings to my tongue and doesn’t go away for an hour. Never seen anything like it. I’m holding onto it in case I see an opportunity to get it tested (or perhaps send it to someone who can).

Frankly, I’ve had several bad batches from HS this year, so I don’t think I’ll be going through them again. Which is unfortunate, because I used to really like them, especially their Thai MD (their 2017-early 2018 Thai MD was probably one of my favorite strains ever).

So the recent PMD from 1 week ago is GONE.. and now PMD #2 (aka Big Bang PMD) is on the website. Pretty nice selection he's got TWO types of Crushed Leaf, and some Gold Bali back in stock. No telling if this batch is anything like those June July?

Hi guys! Just registered ..had to after seeing these. So, Herbal RVA is the only online vendor I've ever used.. Literally.. When i was coming off methadone in the summer and joined Reddit and had no idea where to start someone recommended him to me.
I guess I've been spoiled ..only other place ive gotten it from is a head shop and that was between shipments.. Its good stuff, fast, awesome price, and for a tiny operation his cust svc is amazing! ive called him and texted him a few times when website was acting up.. He was patient and helpful.

I JUST (like 2 hours ago) pulled a 4 way kilo of Wild Red, Green Maeng Da, Red Maeng Da, and Green Vietnam out of my mailbox. I have never tried any of these from him.. My best ever experience was my first order.. Red Big Bang and Yellow indo back in August (convinced me I could leave ' done behind) Im SO glad to read these recent reviews! Ive been getting nervous ... In late October I got that nasty batch of Yellow Hulu.. Two ppl compared the batch # with me and it was the same. It didn't make me sick but it was so nasty i couldnt stand it and it didn't smell or taste like Kratom.. It smelled sweet-ish and tasted like crushed Tylenol mixed with burnt mulch. Everything good since then but I've been browsing other vendors and seeing how much MORE every one of them costs..and I started to have the shadow of doubt creep in that maybe you get what you pay for, and i need to find a new vendor.
I just took down 1 semi heaping spoon of Red Maeng Da and 2 of Green Maeng Da about 20 minutes ago. Halfway thru this post I realized I was feeling really really good. What sucks is I don't know which one, if either, is stronger. Anyone ever tried any of those 4 from Herbal? Yea.. This was way longer than I intended

I usually have to try the strains a few times first to get a good idea. The red MD is really good, very euphoric, not too slow or sedating. It's very dark red, but not as dark as the bent. It looks like Martian soil. I'll have to get back to you on the bent though, only tried it once so I didn't get a good idea. So far i feel like I made good selections.

I just ordered some of the last batch (didnt know a big restock was coming ) and it really sucked lol. Trying not to be a dick about it but I pretty much wasted $72 and kinda pissed so...yeah. Wish I would have waited but as I said, had no idea a new batch from some other supplier was coming literally 3 days later

Im open to the idea that "maybe its just me" and not the kratom but I seriously doubt it lol

I like the Royal bent. For me it took a little longer to kick in...i waited an hour and thought it was bunk, but it started working 15 minutes later. I think it'll best be used in a blend, i like a more full spec feel in my dose, it feels like it's missing something by itself. The red MD is the best though. Here I was worried that all the new stuff wouldn't be good, since all the summer leaf got bought up in the panic, but glad to see that isn't the case.

The Green Maeng da is good the Wild Red is ok, it kinda tastes dusty like the smell of an old attic but I've had kratom that tastes that way.. The red maeng da is amazing, haven't tried green Vietnam yet

Wow an hour and fifteen minutes to kick in? Most kratom kicks in around 20 mins for me. I would be thinking it’s bunk too if I hit the one hour mark. I’ll let you know how it goes.

What strains did you get? I just had a similar experience with Herbal Salvation, except with 1500 grams. All complete garbage, for lack of better terms. I’ve had good and bad batches from several vendors, but this last one from HS was horrendous.

Yeah it usually takes about an hour to peak for me, idk I'm slower than most. I've also heard some say that they need to take an extra gram or two more than normal with the royal bent, so ymmv

I received my kilo today. I haven't tried any of them yet but my mom took her normal dose of the red MD and she said it was pretty good. Last I heard it was putting her down for the night. I gave a buddy of mine a sample of the green MD. He is going to try it out in the morning. I test new stuff on my days off since I tried a strain that didn't work for me on a day I had to unload a trailer at work. Not fun...

If i order on a Thursday I get it Monday (I order on Thursdays a lot bc I get paid on Thursdays) if I order Monday it's here by Thursday. Its pretty consistently 3 business days. You can track it on the email that generates when they ship it. I almost always get the shipping email same day unless its late afternoon or evening when I place the order

Yea thats kind of new. In my experience it added 1 day. I used to order on Thursday and get on Saturday... PS you could always select express shipping I think its $20

Mine took 5 days to deliver. Which is definitely on the longer end of typical delivery times. But RVA shipped it the next day, so it was totally USPS thing. What’s your tracking page say? Has it shipped already? I was actually in the same situation - waiting for the package to arrive in a different state and if it didn’t, I’d have to wait months. So I feel your worry here. I’m sure it’ll come within 7 days though.

So I finally received my split kilo today. I opened that package like a little kid on Christmas. The shiny, smooth golden packaging, with simplistic tags “Premium MD”, “Royal Bent” and “Red MD” had me geeking. All I could think was “FINALLY. No more of this bunk Herbal Salvation garbage”.

I went straight for the Red MD. I have no scale, never used one in three years, but I’ve always used the same spoon and can generally get a consistent scoop size. I’d guesstimate my dose size to be around 6-9g, it’s a solid heaping spoonful (I really need a scale).

When I first opened it, I examined and smelled it.The smell was feintly farmy, if you know what I mean. It smelled like wheats, and plants, I guess. Not in a bad way, it was natural smelling. It looked a *little* less fine than other kratom, like the fine powders you get from HS. But still very fine, and I’ve learned that finer does NOT mean better, at all.

Anyways, I took a standard sized dose of the red MD (Toss and Wash). It tasted good - not too harsh or bitter, actually rather smooth. Like what you’d expect a good kratom to taste like. Went down easy with no after taste at all. And that was that, I went about my boring evening activities (feed the dog, clean backyard, etc.)

Placebo was messing with me for the first 20-30 minutes. I was just so excited for it to kick in, plus most Kratom does kick in for me by 20 minutes.

I started to have my doubts as to the quality level, when around the 30 minute mark I suddenly felt... good. Like I just felt physically and mentally content. No euphoria, no sedation, no stimulation... just the same old me, but content. Then it progressed, and euphoria kicked in. Like a shield, slightly warm, was protecting me from anxiety, or sadness. This was a very reassuring sensation, which in and of itself caused a deeper euphoria and state of content.

None of that background sedation creeping up on me - just a consistent, comforting state of existence. I felt talkative. I felt like calling my Grandma just to chat. I felt like doing something. All the while, my body was totally pain free and I felt like no matter what environment or scenario I was in, I was happy. Anyways, here I am 90 minutes in, still feeling great. This strain receives a solid 9/10, I only give it a 9 because I have to reserve a 10 for the true standout strains.

I will post a review on the Royal Bent and PMD tomorrow.

I just went ahead and tested the RVA green Vietnam this morning. I dropped it at 5:50. I feel it coming on. Yesterday I tried green elephant from kraydo and it fizzled out on me by noon. I got a small bottle of a Johnson's mix on me just in case this one does the same. I'll report back by lunchtime on what happened.

It was pretty good energy wise. It kicked in about 40 mins later but I was taking a second four hours later. My PMD from Johnson's got me through the rest of the day.
