Thanks buddy. Sorry to see there's no more Gold Bone.
Missed that one I guess.

Re: Dennete Updated Menu
That D615 Red Bone is made of unobtanium, but Philly (YLYL) has some fantastic Red Bone that is one of the very best Reds I've had in the last year.WhiteAngelica wrote: ↑Tue Jun 06, 2023 1:52 am Haven't seen a link to an updated menu, but I have never gotten the chance to try the Red Bone. At all. I doubt it is here right now, but I am obsessed with it. I waited too long, to the point that I'm stark raving mad.
Feel free to tap me on the shoulder when the Red Bone comes. As a reds connoisseur/afficionado/pain slayer, I have gone beyond the appropriate time to try the Red Bone in my lifetime, and if I dont do it soon, I might have to wait for the next life!

unobtanium :
a highly desirable material that is hypothetical, scientifically impossible, extremely rare, costly, or fictional, or has some of these properties in combination.
"what type of cabling are we talking about, steel, composite, unobtainium?"
It's been a LOOOOONG time since I've had to look up a word. Thanks. Sounds like it means, EXCEPT that "fictional" slipped in there
I like how the sentence offers no clue as to it's use or context thereof. Hahaha!
Should probably be "rarelyobtanium" instead, though.

Not to get too OT, but the word was used in 'Avatar' (the first one) as the material they were seeking, but it's basically a MacGuffin (and you can look that up as well). Some folks think Cameron was being funny and that it was used in an ironical way but given how very serious he is I kind of doubt it - I think it's unintentional funny (and completely unnecessary - again, it's just a MacGuffin and has no particular importance to the plot other than "they had to have it so that's why they did what they did".

We used to use that word all the time in the vinyl record collecting biz to indicate a highly sought after pressing that was nearly impossible to find i.e. "There might be some burned out Greek MDMA freak living in a cave on Patmos who has a copy, but otherwise original pressings of The Verve's Voyager One are made of unobtanium."mivanqua wrote: ↑Sun Jun 11, 2023 2:05 pm unobtanium :

Re: Dennete Updated Menu
finally settled on a split. Green Lancong SK16, Green Platinum KA24, Green Soul AR4 & Gold Bangkanai AH25. Green Lancong sk7 was the first D615 strain I fell in love with so I've been waiting for a new lancong since last summer. The ARs have been slapping so far, great new supplier. Excited to finally try a green platinum. Almost got my first all green split kilo, wanted some Weriager too.
d said on mewe the gold bang was a "warm blanket" so that edged out the yellow temburong i was looking at. Golds are hit or miss for me but when they hit they hit amazingly and I have a good feeling about this one. Or maybe it's just FOMO.

Re: Dennete Updated Menu
After doing a bunch of research on this forum without which I would have been lost, I determined that the AM, SK and F farmers appeared to be the most popular, so I ordered Red Guedong SK, Red Ketambe SK, Green Pure F, Green Kutai AM and an add on bag of Green Tanjung. I'm also getting a bunch of D615 leaf in the mail today that I bought on Trading Post, so I am going to have a real feast for the next week.

You won't go wrong with anything from Denette. The one thing that didn't hit with me, hit hard with other members of my family.OriginalLHB wrote: ↑Wed Jun 14, 2023 12:14 pm After doing a bunch of research on this forum without which I would have been lost, I determined that the AM, SK and F farmers appeared to be the most popular, so I ordered Red Guedong SK, Red Ketambe SK, Green Pure F, Green Kutai AM and an add on bag of Green Tanjung. I just ordered that unusual Red Batang that is 90% indood dried and 10% outdoor dried. It is from the MF farmer and the only other strain from that farmer is the 15 year Green which I've heard is a great slower Green. I will post a review next week.

Re: Dennete Updated Menu
Keep an eye on the Kratom Vendor Listings forum area, he does open events from time to time (about every 2-3 months it seems) where Double M members can order, without being members of his. Same as TFH, but about 37X less rare. :lol Or, post more, and get into the Trading Post forum area here and you can pick some up from some Double M folks looking to sell theirs.

I tried Dennete’s kratom back in may during a public event and his kratom is fantastic. I try to remember to come around this forum and check for openings.
