Lisa's Best Botanical 4 strain review
Okay, so I've posted some reviews about Liza's Best over the past 2 months or so, but I just received a 4 way split package from her and would like to review/update the kratom I purchased.
The following are what I have and my ratings/thoughts:
Happy-Go-Lucky 7/10. I can't tell how fast this is, but there is a smooth uplift in mood and euphoria with anxiety reducing properties. It does give some energy but not much. Seemed to be moderate in duration. I've had this before and it felt a little more zippy, this batch seemed very similar but more subdued. Good for morning or afternoon IMO. I'd be interested to know what goes into the blend but it's Liza's proprietary recipe, I believe, and I respect that.
Golden Tulip 9/10. This is a blend of (I believe) White Slippery Rock/Super Green/yellow Banjo/Red Bent. Comes on fairly quick and lasts awhile. There is a very nice relaxation/anti-anxiety but not sedative property to this along with very good pain relief. Also has a more casual mood lifting/euphoric effect. I think I would use this any time I was overly stressed or wanted pain/anxiety relief, especially in the evening (I usually have to stop kratom by 4pm or I'll be up unless it's a sedative red type but I burned some before dinner and it didn't effect my sleep). Highly recommended - one of, if not the best chill out/pain killing kratoms I've ever used.
Green Paragrin 8/10. A moderately fast green. I noticed euphoria and a big mood lift with this, along with good energy. This really lifted the spirits and gave good energy but it's not overly stimulating like something such as Super Green Malay nor is it nauseating. There was also some decent pain relief with this one, a little more than average for a green IMO. Very good for a green.
*White Dragon 8/10. Fast, stimulating and potent. Within 30 minutes I think all the effects were present- euphoria, lots of energy, and strong sense of well-being/confidence. I have had this before and my eyes always feel a little weird when it kicks in. I don't know if it's just me but this helps with pain moreso than any white I've tried, which is a plus if I want to substitute this for my morning coffee. A little seems to go far with this. The duration isn't long but while it's working I feel it very strongly. Seems like a stronger cousin to White MD IMO.
Overall her Kratom is strong, I did take about a 36 hour break from all kratom prior to trying these, however. I would say some- particularly White Dragon, is 25 to 50% stronger than most whites based on my dose and it's effects. I don't know why I chose her Golden Tulip (over Yellow Vietnam) however I am VERY glad I did as it has similar but better effects and I would seriously recommend to anyone who wants a chill out but not sleepy, painkilling kratom.
Overall these are very good to excellent strains and though I found Happy-Go-Lucky to be a little different than my last batch I'm pleased with it and the service. A+ for Liza's Best Botanicals again.
*I wanted to order White Banjo but it was out of stock- I'd already tried White Slippery Rock and White Dragon before and WD is good. Unfortunately I am unfamiliar with most of her other whites (sulawesi, Barak, nugroz, plantation) that have high reviews. For my next order I plan on trying her White Banjo if it is in stock. Also interested in her Relaxer Elixer or Red Headed Step Child and possibly a yellow (Banjo, Super or Vietnam) or gold/red I've never used. Trying to minimize my white kratom intake as looking back it causes anxiety and overstimulation. The stand out in this is the Golden Tulip, and that may remain a mainstay for me in the future. It's not talked about much but looking at the ingredients in the blend it makes sense why I like it so much.

Re: Lisa's Best Botanical 4 strain review
I’m new here so introducing myself and... thank you for writing this review. I’ve been lurking for a couple days. So glad I found this board. Only been using kratom for a couple months. Went through the normal stuff and learned a lot from reddit but it’s of no use to me now. Needed something else more informative especially about vendors. Without this board I wouldn’t have known about Liza. Just placed my first order today and haven’t tried her product yet. But I did include Happy go lucky and randomly green paragrin. I wasn’t sure about the paragrin so you confirmed it was a good choice. I also got red monster and green zombie. Anyways thanks for your review and look forward to getting active in the community!

Re: Lisa's Best Botanical 4 strain review
Can someone fill me in?
I´m setting up an order (Lisa´s Botanical) for a sampler but the weight/amount does not change whether you choose 4 or 8 strains. I don´t like to assume, although maybe I should accept that itś ¨obvious¨ given the cost amt.
I don´t see a way to contact anyone there.
Anyone get an 8 strain sampler? Did you get 448g, 224 (as indicated whether 4 or 8) or something else?
Thanks!

I did the 4 oz sample in the description of the order I noted the 4 I wanted. I’d assume it would be the same for the 8.Transformato wrote:Can someone fill me in?

Re: Lisa's Best Botanical 4 strain review
GroovyHeart,
Welcome to the board. I have only been taking kratom for about 3 months and it’s been very good for wha ails me. Liza’s is a great place for quality kratom. I think you’ll really like the green paragrin and the Happy-Go-Lucky although individuals respond to different things differently. They are both really mood lifting- in a bit different way. I started out with a few oz of different strains on my first order. I can’t name one that wasn’t better than other kratom I’ve tried.
Informato,
Thanks - I can be long winded but I try to be detailed and am glad my review can help others.

Re: Lisa's Best Botanical 4 strain review
Thanks for the review Ctict ! Good details very enlightening.
Personally I'm not to sure about both recent batches I've gotten of Happy Go Lucky.
To be continued...
I was wondering about the Paragin myself. I've never tried that one before and it has a cool name will have to look up that location some time.. sounds like a definite wishlist order in the next month!
Golden tulip wow quite the combinations for that blend.
I wonder if ppl get discouraged with so many diff strains mixed together..?
Hey, if it works then will def. have to try that one too!
I just got myself an 8-sampler today in the mail and Liza yet again made me very happy!
I got Whites and Reds, all different strains I haven't tried yet.

Re: Lisa's Best Botanical 4 strain review
I've tried 20+ strains from Liza's, and I don't notice a huge difference between many of them. The difference between the greens are pretty minor, and same with the whites. Some might be slightly faster or slower, and some might hit a little harder than others, but they've all been good to very good. The one exception is Red Monster. I don't take kratom for pain, so I'm only aware of the pain relief side of kratom in passing. My old man joints don't hurt as much, that kind of thing... But Red Monster made me feel like I was wrapped in a thick, numbing cloud of joy. It's the only strain I've had from any vendor ever where I saw how/why it's used for pain. I didn't find it overly sedating to where I wanted to sleep, but I didn't want to move much either, so...
Anyway, if you're in pain, I HIGHLY recommend picking up a sample of Red Monster. Definitely the strongest red of her's I've tried.

Ordered an oz on 1/1/19, and 300g more on 1/6/19. I'm still working through the oz and haven't tried the 300g yet, but I'm assuming it's from the same batch.

Re: Lisa's Best Botanical 4 strain review
Payshince,
I'm not sure about this batch of Happy-Go-Lucky, either. Maybe it's me but it doesn't seem as effective or similar to the previous 100g I got. It won't be in my next order because I'll run out of what I have before I use much of it.
I'll continue to state the Golden Tulip (it's marked as "gold" on the pckg but it is a blend of the 4 strains I listed) is one of my top all-time favorite Kratoms. It is very good, in low doses, and used a few times a week my tolerance hasn't gone up. It's so effective at relaxing me and reading pain without putting me to sleep or feeling like reds normally do.

I’ve been wanting to try Liza but her “enhancement” feature really confuses me. That feature makes the price jump. Does her “enhanced” Kratom have better effects then her non enhanced Kratom?

Enhanced leaf, means a powder kratom Extract, is mixed in with plain leaf, usually on a 1:4 ratio. One gram of Extract, 4 grams plain.Does her “Enhanced” Kratom - have better effects than non enhanced ?
Yes, Its a little stronger. It's a lot more expensive
I'm ordering her Enhanced samples. Extract is best, mixed w/ plain leaf anyway.. You can make your own, too!

Yes, Its a little stronger. It's a lot more expensiveHow long have you been doing kratom? Extract is really for 1- Experienced kratomites, who can judge the difference, 2- Pain relief, those who take kratom mainly for pain. And 3- Moneybags, rich folks who don't care

I appreciate the detailed explanation. I will give her regular Kratom and enhanced Kratom a try and see if I can tell a difference. Also do you recommend buying Kratom now? I’ve heard it’s the “rainy” season so many people say you should avoid buying Kratom until May.

Re: Lisa's Best Botanical 4 strain review
Sure the rainy season makes a difference but alot of farmers are good at working around that and still making quality leaf by changing the process. Alot of the best leaf is in the summer though, unfortunately I just learned that a month back so I didn't get a handle on grabbing my "summer favorites" til I had already burned through them. Explains why I loved Kats Green Bali better a few months back than I do right now (still fire) just not as slow and euphoric.Gin wrote:Only been taking Kratom for around 4 months. I'm learning that rainy season leaf is usually faster but that's not always true. Idk I think it's open for speculation and what not. But there's definitely good leaf out there, you have to stay up on the reviews and forums i.e.; here and mewe. Trust the recent reviews for Liza Green Nugroz, it's a wonderful strain and I'm hearing from other reviews the recent "rainy season" batches are still slow and euphoric. Actually thinking of grabbing some more because I'm loving it so much tonight.

Do you know what mewe group I should join! Also her Green Nugroz sounds like it’s on the Red strain side when you mentioned it being slow. I’m a red person. I’ve only tried green strain twice before and it made me very sleepy so I could be wrong. I’m definitely thinking about trying Liza the next time I need kratom. Do you know of any good sedating red strains from her?Uniiiversoul wrote:Sure the rainy season makes a difference but alot of farmers are good at working around that and still making quality leaf by changing the process.
