Purchased some of each strain they had:

Moi
Makakeha
Hiwa
Nene
Ikaika
Mahalepu

of which I have s only had a few, some are new to his selection, and I haven't had enough to really break it down and compare.

What I can say so far is it is high quality dehydrated pure juice from the 'awa (Hawaiian word for kava) root. Chris has never responded to any email or contact form when I try to reach him, wanting to find out more about the 'awa. I guess he doesn't need to, either, cause it's so good I keep buying it when I can. It's expensive, but a nice treat. He is also sold out most of the time, so if you are into kava, buy it when you can, the instant (dehydrated) is what I have tried vs medium grind (traditional ground up root). Strange to recommend a vendor who doesn't have great customer service, but there it is. Oh, also. the very first time I ordered from him, he included a 200g bag for free, no explanation.

Nice to see posts about good kava vendors. I have yet to try out GHA, but was just on their site and wanted to get your opinion on heady strains. Was lookin at their instant to start off. In the past i've enjoyed Fire Island instant from Nakamal, and traditional grinds from Fiji, but have noticed weaker effects w that one. I like super heady kavas, and have also been wonderin about the reverse tolerance thing. I take kratom, kanna, and use cannabis daily. My system has experience w so many substances in the past, thinkin about how it adapts so quickly to things and why the effects seem to get weaker with use. Any thoughts or suggestions? I started a while back w Pouni Ono from KWK, and really liked it. Since then, purchased from other vendors to compare. I wanna try Root and Pestle but the shipping is outrageous!
