Any Xbox gamers out there? Would be fun to get a kratom crew going on R6 or something. lol
Wouldn't mind seeing of the social aspect of kratom would work with people playing games where good communication is necessary.

I’m a PC gamer. Lifelong addiction, gaming is my hobby. Just got a new custom gaming PC built this past summer after I burned out my last graphics card lol. What kind of games do you play? Right now I’m playing Subnautica, Witcher 3, and Darkest Dungeon.

Kratom and video games are a match made in heaven.

I've been playing the Anthem demo today.

I play just about everything lol. Adventure, RPG, Shooter, survival/building, if it grabs my attention I'll play it.

I have Subnautica, got it when it was just a demo.. need to play it some more to check out the finalized version.

I have a $500 gift certificate for newegg I've been sitting on for a while... I'm gonna get a new gaming rig with it as well!

Slightly off topic, I apologize. However, I feel it would be beneficial to give my experience as a new user of Kratom and with my first post on DoubleM!

I have a group of friends that I play PC games with, and we play League of Legends. I have pretty bad depression and anxiety, I get down on myself to dangerous degrees sometimes. I'm a very competetive person and with that, any mistake I make I tend to come down on myself hard and get very upset and "tilted". This leads to me continuing to play worse, scream and yell and profusely apologize for "ruining every game we play." ... I can't lie, I am awful to be around when I get like that, but I have a great, supportive group of friends who haven't distanced themselves from me yet.

Since I've started taking Kratom, we've coincidentally been playing a lot more league... It's incredible though, because we can play for hours on end and I'm able to stay focused, play better and most importantly, not be sucked into a terribly depressive state. I just play the game for what it is, each game is a new experience and I leave all the mistakes in the last game. I'm improving my gameplay because of my improved mood, and not dragging my friends down with me because of it. I can remain calm and realize that, at the end of the day, it's just a game and it's no reason to blow a gasket because I made a mistake. I just slow down, analyze it, accept it and try to learn from it.

Kratom has helped me enjoy the hobbies that I thought I had lost because of my newfound ability to do them without too much stress or ill-feelings. I can have fun again doing the things that I used to do for relief, and that's absolutely incredible. I was beginning to feel a bit hopeless at the fact that all my old forms of therapy were no longer effective because my mental issues had all but sucked the fun out of anything that I like to do for fun.

Welcome DrFappingston

Haha love the name seriously very catchy LOL

Anyway, honestly the feeling is mutual so I know how you feel (for the most part).

I don’t really want to write out a ton at this time, but I do know how that feels having difficulty being around friends and having a good time and trying so hard to be able to just be you and not become even more unmanageable due to mental illnesses such as Anxiety and Depression.

Ive been suffering with both for a very long time now and I’m 25. Kratom has given my life back to me (most days) and yeah i still isolate and I don’t go out often, (nor do I play much video games esp. witb friends) but at least we’re working on ourselves and there is hope!

I just wanted to chime in because I feel I can relate.

Take care and again, Welcome!

I'm glad that Kratom has been able to help you as well. I'm 23, I was starting to wonder if I was the odd one out seeing as many users on this forum had said that they were 50+ in another thread. Not that there's anything wrong with that :P

I try not to romanticize substances as some sort of miracle, because with any substances comes it's own unique issues. However, with Kratom it has done what I never thought it could-- and doesn't inebriate or affect my state of mind in a negative way whilst doing it. It's incredible, I can remain myself and not get "high" while still finding relief. The idea, I suppose is to use it as a means to find normalcy until which point I can maintain normalcy on my own. Even if it takes a long time, Kratom is leaps and bounds better than the alternatives.

If you play PC games, any of you, feel free to add me on Steam! https://steamcommunity.com/id/drfappingston/

! Hahaha! I'm one of the 50+ crowd. If you are lucky, one day you will be 50+ :) I may look you up on Steam. I haven't played games in ages. I do PS3 too and own a Wii. My mood is still funky. I'm still trying to find myself as I'm pretty sure I'm still withdrawing from the pharmaceutical pain meds. Kratom certainly helps, though! 8-)

Xbox gamer here. Gamer tag is Murda HamMer. I'm playing mostly Dark Souls 3 and Mad Max but I'll play other stuff. I'm kinda limited to certain games though because my thumbs are messed up and I can only play games with my fingers. Can't really play first person shooters or games that require a lot of aiming. Getting a gaming pc soon though!

Dark Souls makes me rage. I'm seriously terrible at those kinds of games.

I stopped after GoldenEye and Ocarina of Time.
I've played some of the new systems, but nothing can beat those two for me. Mostly nostalgia, probably.

I'm trying to study for my next industry certification - Net+. They pad the cert exam with completely useless information from 20 years ago. I've used computer networking for the last 16 years and I've used very little of some of the crap that they are trying to push. THEN, Steam has a Spring sale and I found Battlegrounds 2 for $4.99. I figure eh, I'll play a couple of hours of it, and see what the whole hoopla is about. Yeah, right.... a couple of hours, I'm well over 100 hours. I need to remove my power supply and give it to my buddy if I'm ever going to pass this cert, dammit.

I definitely feel you on that. The bosses are ridiculous. I rage occasionally but then go back after a few hours and I'm much better.
