Smiley Time Herbals
So after reading multiple good reviews on smiley time herbals I decided to give them a try. They have an awesome selection of strains available. They will also do a 5-way split on a kilo which is incredible. For anyone who goes to the site and decides to do this make sure you enter the kilo amount (1000g)and then put all five strains that you want in the selection box to get the kilo price. I was not sure at the time if this was how to do it because some vendors do charge more to split kilos, but after a very quick response from Mr. Smiley I was told the correct way to order the split and get the same kilo price... which is very reasonable btw. It took me a bit to decide but finally went with:
Super Green #3
White Banjo
Gold Bent
Red Borneo
Daylight
Curious if anyone has tried any of these and how it worked for them. Just wanted to post and let everyone know that so far the customer service has been great and I will certainly post about the speed of delivery and quality of the product once I've received the order and given it a try. As far as price and customer service, Smiley Time has definitely made me smile!!

Thanks for the info. Do you feel like the super Green 3 is a fast or slow strain? Could your take it at night or does it give you energy?

To me the SG3 is a great slow green. That doesn’t mean it’ll put me to sleep- very few greens affect me that way. It’s just got great euphoria, mood, pain relief, and it does have a little subdued energy to it. Of the nearly 40 strains I have from Smiley Time, it’s probably in the top 3. I’m actually burning it again this morning (mixed with a little of RVA’s White Bigbang). That’s the other great thing about SG3 - it mixes wonderfully with a white to boost the energy, or a red (or slow yellow) to kick up the euphoria and relaxation. I guess I probably would not take it at night, but I really wouldn’t take any green very late if i planned on trying to get to sleep early.Cstrong wrote:Thanks for the info. Cstrong, please update with a review of some of the other strains you got - I’m familiar with the White Banjo and Daylight (the batch he had in the Fall before he sold out of everything), but I’ve been curious about the Red Borneo and Gold Bent.

You know, I don't know why I didn't think of that... I've blended White Big Bang with Green Big Bang... and I've blended White Banjo with SG3.. but never thought to mix White Big Bang with Super Green #3. Vendor-ception!jabro70 wrote: I’m actually burning it again this morning (mixed with a little of RVA’s White Bigbang)..
The Super Green 3, as the other guy mentioned, is a slowish euphoric green. It's very relaxed, but not overly sedative. The first time I burned SG3, it actually came on with a lot of energy, but since then it's been a lot slower. It's a great feel-good burn, brightens your spirits and puts the mind at ease. I'd say it's a good just-got-home-from-work burn. It won't put you to sleep, but it alleviates the stressors of the day and lets you ride the wave until bedtime.
The White Banjo is good. It's perplexing to me, it's good, but it's not like some other whites I've tried. It doesn't demand your attention and kick you in the ass telling you "Let's get this done!"... It's more of a gentle nudge in that direction, it's very smooth and still relaxing. It's like a nice cup of coffee waking up on a Monday. You're not completely energized and ready to attack the day, but it's that reassuring voice in the back of your head that tells you that you'll make it through the day.
Edit: As opposed to double-posting, I just edited in my short tidbit about the 2 strains that I can comment on.
Update: I tried the 1:1 White Big Bang and Super Green 3 this morning before heading into work, and I have got to say this burn has hit me in just the right way. I'm focused and energetic, while being relaxed and very tolerant of coworkers who usually grind on my last nerve the moment I walk in the door. I took that dose around 7am, it's now 9am and I still feel great. I might have found me a new favorite morning blend. If I had to attribute a song to the feeling of this mix, it would be James Brown - I Feel Good... It was running through my head as I walked in this morning

Re: Smiley Time Herbals
Ok, so it’s been awhile since I received my Smiley order. I wanted to be able to give it a fair review and allow plenty of time to try all of the strains and give them time to impress me. I really really wish I could say that it was awesome but I just can’t. To be fair, the super green#3 was decent. Not mind blowing but good. I’ve tried mixing it with some of the other strains I received in the hopes that it would change the effects...but nothing. I actually emailed them before I ordered for some strain recommendations for slow reds for anxiety but I didn’t get a response. I also asked if they had a money back guarantee, but no response. I was very low on stock and needed to make an order quick so I hoped for the best and made the order. All of the reviews I read were positive so I was really excited to receive my order. Anyway..to summarize...I ordered:
Sg#3
red Borneo
gold bent
White banjo
Daylight
The only one I would recommend out of those would be the sg#3. Definitely a slower green but still enough of a lift to get you through the afternoon. I’m going to keep trying with these and if something changes with my opinion I will certainly let you guys know. Hope everybody has an awesome weekend!!

Re: Smiley Time Herbals
IF you're looking for lift then Red Borneo isn't likely to have any .. Its usually a very slow red. I got some Red Mahakam from Smiley and, it's OK but too slow - might be great, for pain relief or sleeping - Gold Bent, ime the bents are usually not strong enough to take alone. Hopefully that Daytime blend will work better for ya?the sg#3. Definitely a slower green but still enough of a lift to get you through
Vendors start importing multiple sources, pretty soon it's 40, 50, or more strains? Gets a bit ridiculous. Sure, K-OG is the leader on variety, but 70+ to choose from? Guarantee, any vendor who buys THAT much, from many suppliers .. Is gonna have a bunch of "average" strains. Especially this time of year!
Now problem is.. your TOP stuff, gets cherry picked. Right? Everyone buys SG#3 'cuz all reviews say, pretty good - It IS a good solid green! Absolutely .. But he bought tons more, from the same supplier .. Now having to unload it - I see Smiley has limits on that - Stop guys from buying 2 Kilos all SG#3.. the NICE thing about Smiley is generous splits, Half kilo split 5 ways, you're not over stocked

Re: Smiley Time Herbals
Yeah, a slow Red is what I wanted and red Borneo has always been my friend so I was pretty surprised by its lack of potency. Smiley does have an awesome price on their split kilos for sure. Thanks for the response.
