Usally, it's blend reds(fermented or sun drying), green, and white, and made "optimal" color. Or "secret way"- just add other herbs, or food paint  .

Always been my understanding that a YELLOW typically starts out a WHITE VEIN that goes thru a different drying process than a white usually does.... And similarly like you said a GOLD typically starts off as a RED VEIN leaf that is then dried differently thank a red usually is. I could have wrong info but this has always been what I have read and or was told!

Well to my understanding they yellow process is from drying. Its a process of fermentations similar to bentuangie. Bentuangie is usually red vein. Yellow is the color the leaf turns after it ferments, sometimes the drying process is from the sun, but leaving the leaves outside can be unsanitary though. Its about drying the leaf and re-moistening then drying again to create the yellow color. The color of the kratom beforehand is unique to each process, there is no yellow grown leaf. Each yellow/gold process is different so just ask the vendor if they know how the farmer cures his yellow/gold leaf if you need exact information. Here is a great explanation link for you

The ONLY times I've ever really enjoyed a yellow or gold strain is when I've blended them with a red or green. It could be a white, green or red that didn't turn out right when dried? They're gonna sell it for the same price as the primo shit anyway?....just a theory, idk?
