I know people are calling you a shill, and maybe you are, but after a couple years of RVA only I tried some MI and their vampire was the best I've had in a long while, but in all fairness I had been using RVA exlusively (except for maybe one or two doses of HS from a friend). My first order I got some mermaid and vampire. Normally I try a strain out for at least 3 days. IME sometimes a strain really comes into itself after you've been taking it a couple days. I ended up using the mermaid first and it was meh. I didn't get sick or anything, but it wasn't something I'd buy again. The vampire however....wew lad. When the first dose kicked in I knew it was good shit. After a couple days actually had to lower my dose a couple grams. That being said, the last bag I got (currently using) does seem a little different than the two that preceded it, but it seems within the normal tolerance for kratom. It's a bit more bitter, and its not quite as strong, but its not different to the point that its no good. If regular vamp is 9/10 (for me anyways) then this bag is like 7.5/10, or, still pretty good. Things change around this time of year. Something to do with the rainy season IIRC and the way its harvested, dried, and stored before making the long trek to the US.

If you are a shill, then shit isn't cool and when we discover if you're shilling its going to make me not want to order from MI anymore. Blame my ex if you want, but I have an extreme aversion to being manipulated. I don't care how much I like a strain of your kratom. I won't give my money to a company that does that.

Quick story. When I first started using kratom I was buying from Phytoextractum. I think we all know what quality kratom they're selling. I discovered Reddit around the end of August in 2017. Read a bunch of posts and saw that RVA was getting all the love, so I ordered a few strains from them. Got them in and was blown away. My first three posts at r/kratom were posts about how wonderful RVA is and how happy I am with the kratom I got from them, etc etc. I made these three posts in record time. One day maybe.

Shilly looking? Hell yes. But at that point, I didn't know it. Dragonbubbles sends me a PM and tells me I need to slow down. We PMd back and forth and she knew I was just an overexcited newbie and was not actually shilling.

What's my point? I don't know, it's 0'dark thirty and I haven't had my tea yet. Just because a post looks shilly doesn't absolutely mean it is.

I think the OP has explained his position well enough. Maybe we can move on.

I've done the same TBH and I think if some of the people here would look through their histories they might find out they did something similar as well. That being said, I feel skepticism is a good trait to have (but to be fair I'm a paranoid bastard and I question almost everything). Still though, theres a difference between "I'm skeptical of this post, but in the case I'm wrong I'm happy for you" and just straight up stating as fact that this guy is a shill. Didn't know we had so many god damned mind readers here.

a fair amount of people on this forum felt they got bunk kratom or had their strains switched a little while ago. then they also felt that mystics response to their complaints wasn't good enough. check out the threads "mystic island accusations" and a couple others (there are like 5 threads about it) in general discussion and they will tell you all you need to know.

personally the stuff i got from mystic recently is more than ok, but i understand people frustrations as well. if you liked mystics stuff before, i think you probably still will, as the problems with the kratom itself appears to have been resolved. ive only ever made this one order from mystic, so you may want other opinions, but it seems like at this point the issue is that people are still kinda pissed about the customer service side of things.

I don't think we should totally blame MI. Their suppliers product had trouble entering the country. Others are struggling with similar issues. Even people in the origin countries are struggling with shipping issues. Also kratom is so subjective. It may work for one person and not the next. A persons tolerance also plays a role here.. MI has cheap prices and I still order from them.

mystic stuff i got end of last year around nov beg of dec was great, all worked just as expected. then i got some of the newer stuff and meh. i compared directly the bali, vampire, phat, and borneo to the previous batches i had by taking a dose from the old one then the next day using the newer one switching this for each batch the next one used the new first then the older one and every time i was disappointed with the new ones. it imo wasnt totally bunk but no where near the effects of the older ones. never got sick or anything like that though. now i have had to look elsewhere because i normally only buy kilos for the discounted pricing but they have literally nothing anyway and dont even sell kilos now. maybe if they are around next season ill try something else from them but not till then. trying rva now placed an order for 4 kilos from them.

Could someone tell me what the blend of mystic vampire is? I'm tired of trying to find other strains my wife ends up saying doesn't work when this place is out of stock. It's becoming a huge hassle.

Just an update. I ordered mystic Phoenix, white wizard, mystic dragon, red maeng da, and saphire. All are legit. Each one has a strength variation, and effect variation. MI's selection is low right now, though.

Thank you for the update. I'm waiting on a restock so I can order a kilo to last me the next 4 months or so and am slightly worried about quality, but it sounds like the problem was isolated to January's green batches. The FDA crackdown really made things a lot harder, I don't think rainy season is as big of a problem as the criminals in the FDA unlawfully seizing legal products

If you like huge chunks of stem and veins through your "fine grind" powder Kratom then this is your place! The kilogram of maengda I bought was pretty much course leaf and dirt! Worst customer service took over a 14 days for original email reply which I had to resend! then they ghosted me again when I ordered! Said they would send a replacement on my next order and then they decided they didn't want to do that and just stopped communicating with me all together. Worst KRATOM EVER, you will have better luck growing your own lol!!!. Save your money and buy elsewhere

I understand everyone's view of this, in fact, the same thought crossed my mind. But e_poison asked us to refrain from labelling people that way & out of respect for him & the wonderful mods that help, it seems best to refrain even in the face of what seems undeniable. I appreciate HH's seasoned reasoning. I, too was called a shill on r/kratom by about 15 people for giving RVA a good review.
