True that!! The last order I got was 2/250gram bags of purple 8 in 1, one was greenish, the other was red'ish brown

I will say that I was truly impressed with the Super Red Indo. Very good pain relief and euphoria without being sleepy. Lasted a good 6 hours. Yeah, I had to buy one of those $45 125g bags - but that one is well worth it. Also tried the Super Red Kali but it didn’t do anything for me.

I found the regular Red Indo from this 6/1/19 batch to be VERY VERY GOOD! I have not tried the Super Red Indo, but the REG is AWESOME and more my speed price wise. If you have not tried the regular, be sure and grab a sample...Can't see the SUPER being too much better (but of course now I want to try it). The reg gave me slight wobbles at my normal dose...That has not happened in a long, long time...dropped the dose down a bit and WOWSER, good stuff...It's POTENT as hell and some of the best leaf I have had in while. My wife loved it too. Of course YMMV as usual.

Had a chance to try the classic md 4 a bunch of times now. and I got to say I dont care for it too much. dosen't have that oomph like the previous batches, too bad. the #3 & #2 were much better. I will defiantly wait till the next batch comes out to try/buy anymore.

Dang-it, labdog! Just when I thought I was set on orders for a while LOL! I just went ahead and ordered a quarter of the Red Indo - I figured if I got a sample and loved it, it would be gone when I went back to reorder. Also got samples of the Bali 25, Red Thai, and the Premium Green. I saw that the Super Red Indo is already sold out. Mine should arrive tomorrow along with samples of White Bali, Green Indo, and Deep Jungle Red.
Any recommendations on some stellar greens from DG? I was planning on trying the Malay, but it’s sold out.

went through a few burns of the PMD 15, and its not bad. not like stellar but very nice. id give it a solid 7 out of 10. very well rounded mid spec, great day time strain. going to get more next time I put in another order.

I liked better then last few batches of PMD for sure. Im a big maeng da fan and to be honest I never cared for DG's PMD batches. every time I would get a 125g bag id give it a go a few burns then throw the bags in my kratom storage, and never really come back to them. BUT his regular (non premiums) maeng da strains ive always loved, way more then the PMD. his late 2018 maeng da "R" supplier was super fire!

I got a few more strains to try out and Ill post the results (in my opinion) if anyone is curious about more of his strains. a few of them is the premium green, plantation Thai MD, and others. Im really anxious to try the premium green, heard good things about the current batch

Ive tried the prem green once, I liked it had some potency, good energy, but I liked the white better, seemed to be a little more balanced

I really enjoyed the premium red. for me it really stood out big time. But Im pretty sure it was from the last batch from the current one.

Labdog you were definitely right- the Regular Red Indo is fantastic. The Super has a little more energy to me, but overall the pain relief, mood lift and euphoria of the Reg is on par with the Super. We’ll see about the legs (the Super goes on forever). The onset of the regular is actually faster and stronger to me. The Super shines between hours 1 and 4 and fades gently in hours 5 and 6. The Regular started shining sooner.

Tried the PMD 15 this morning- first burn of the day. I was a little disappointed in this one. It was mid-spec and okay, but I didn’t think that one deserved the Premium price. (However I got it as a free sample so no worries) I like Smiley’s and Botanical Bunny’s PMD better. (And my batch of Johnson’s).
I burned the Premium Green at lunch. I kept waiting for this one to hit and I never really felt that wash of euphoria, - but - I noticed a couple hours later that I had gotten a shit-load done at work (with no sign of slowing down), I was in a great mood, and I had no knee or back pain whatsoever. So, whatever this one lacks in the euphoria department, it definitely makes up for in all other aspects. I like it. Made me feel “younger”, if that makes any sense. Great strain for work - kept me clear-headed, focused and motivated. (And pain-free).
I’ll probably burn a little of the Deep Jungle Red later this evening.

Insofar as no euphoria, I've tried a lot of the new batch (not the premiums but a lot of the reds at least and green malay and bentuangie.) No euphoria from any of them, except maybe the slightest bit from a couple of them that could fall under placebo levels. The green malay is excellent for getting work done though. The red maeng da hits me a little too hard for daytime use.

So yeah...definitely still looking for euphoria not to chase thw dragon or anything but because it makes me feel a lot more unified with the people around me.

Get the Red Indo. I think you’ll find what you’re looking for there. It’s some of the best leaf I’ve had in a long time. Regular or Premium- they are both Fire.

It's not all about the premium leaf. His regular leaf is nearly as good and sometimes better than premiums. One thing I noticed is the leaf is consistently good quality and that's worth it to me because I don't go through it fast. I would rather grab a few awesome strains than have a ton of mediocre leaf.

Agreed that the current DG Red Indo is fire. I like it better than his Super Red Indo, but the Super is a little faster and mixes really well with a slow red like SRVB. I haven’t had a DG strain yet that I’d rate lower than 7/10. For me he’s a pretty damn impressive supplier if you don’t mind the premium pricing.

I took Bali 22 the other day as a blind sample (I didn’t know what it was until I had already rated it), and scored it below average. I haven’t dipped into my DG stash in a long time other than the premium Bali. I used to defend them saying it was worth the price, but most of what they sell is average - even among the premium strains, only a few are worth going back for.

And considering there are just as many regular strains that are good, the price structure is indefensible. I don’t mind paying more for quality if it is reliable. I bought half a kilo of premium Bali and paid an arm and a leg for it. Full price of 125g x 4. I’m still happy with that purchase. But if I paid that much for something I would rate a 7, I would be mad. Shit, now that I think about it, maybe I did. There wasn’t enough good stuff to order from the samples I graded. I might have bought something I gave a 3.5/5. I’ll have to look.

I don’t know why there’s a sudden influx of DG posts, but I’m sure I did my own share of posting about it when I purchased trying to talk myself into thinking I did the right thing. But besides the price being way out there and the fact more than half of the strains are average at best, the plastic ziplocks with sharpie is so substandard. I know it’s a petty gripe, but buy decent bags and make decent labels at that price. Care about your business.

He got this reputation from the old reddit community as this boutique bespoke elite kratom guru, but his leaf was as average then as it is now. We don’t put up with these prices from any other vendor - regardless of quality. He belongs in the ranks with hippo and kraken.

Yes ive had deep jungle red and red thai....DJR sold out before I could get more its heavier, slow guess id compare it to super RMD 8-8.5/10....red thai is mid-fast one try and it was average 7/10 but might have just been the day, need to revisit. The super green malay has been the standout recently, along with red indo and w bali

Deep Jungle Red might just be the best “strain” I’ve found for pain. The only others that have come close are his Premium Red and Super Red Vein Borneo from last summer.

I'm in total agreement Mr. BallzzZZZ! After spending months arguing with myself about
trying DG, I finally did several months ago. (that internal dialogue is a BITCH!) Thankfully
I only copped small amounts of four different types. Two out of the four were very good....
BUT...BUT, I've had just as good AND/OR better leaf from the vendors that most of us on
DoubleM prefer to give our business to...Botanical Bunny, Soultanic, Smiley, Kraydo, MitraMan,
RVA, Socal, Sosa, Sacred Son, Treasure House, just to name a few!

Guaranteed... if people would stop paying those ridiculous prices, those prices would fall
in line with the prices charged by the aforementioned vendors, but as long as enough people
are willing to pay their present prices, they're not gonna budge. "You can fool some of the people
part of the time and some of the people all of the time and that's enough to make a decent
living"...one of my favorite sayings!
