Ok so I figured it would be nice to just throw my entire current stash together and rate everything on a scale from 1-10. Some of these bags are very old, but figured it would still be helpful to contribute data to be analyzed and rated for overall quality control from certian vendors.

All these bags will be rated from 1-10, with 1 being "barely even works" and 10 being "absolutely phenomenal"..

MitraMan Yellow MD: 9.5
We'll start with the best, which would be MitraMan Yellow MD. Omg guys I've been supplementing with kratom for years and this very well could be the best I've ever had. I'd hate to say it, but this is the closest ive ever come with kratom actually comparing to a full antagonist opi. Wow! The onset, duration, everything scores a perfect 9.5. (I don't believe I've ever rated anything a perfect "10" before, as that number is reserved for the ultimate experience ive yet to discover in years. Very long 6-7hr duration. I hate opi's and have not taken them in over 8-10 years but this strain came very close to the feeling, which could be dangerous territory for someone in early recovery. I said I hate opi's, but lets be real, the feeling is fantastic. It's the inevatible consequences that I hate and you cant have one without the other when it comes to opi's. Kratom however, is all beneficial and it wont kill you to be without for a period of time. At least with kratom, your brain still produces natural endorphins. True opis shut that mechanism right down causing agonizing withdrawal and cravings. I dont get that with kratom.

MitraMan Red Jong Kong: 8.5
Another home run from MitraMan. Red JK comes through like a TRUE red, giving you everything you'd expect from a red. Not too slow, but not one you want to take before work or cleaning. This is a great "Netflix & Chill" strain . Great 5-6 hour duration.

RVA Green Hulu Crushed Leaf: 8.2
Ok, this one is going to be a little unfair to you guys, because you won't be able to get it. This bag has remained sealed for 3 years and some change. I opened it a week ago, dosed, and vac sealed it back up to let it sit for another few years. I am a firm believer on "aged kratom" but it needs to be stored properly. What I do is squeeze air from the bag, vac seal it, and keep the bags in a Tupperware bin with a few large sized silica packs to nutralize any moisture. I once lived in a legal MMJ state and had a small grow operation, so I learned about organic degradation from air, light, etc. Kratom should be stored similarly to MMJ long term storage, except with zero moisture. None, at all. Properly stored aged kratom is a very special thing. I believe somehow it changes the 7-ohm in which the user is able to reach a higher ceiling point without getting the vertigo wobbles. For instance, if your spins kick in at 5g, with aged kratom you'd be able to take 10g with stronger effects but no wobbles or spins. Aged kratom is truly something special. This is my last bag of aged kratom and there's not an offer I would take on it. Well, maybe, but you get the point.

Botanical Bunny Plantation: 8.1
This was the only "great" bag I've gotten from BB but boy was it great. I would have gotten more but I'm not sure it would have been from the same batch. This sample was an endorphin creator and shined very bright on my day. Good long legs with a 5hr duration.

MitraMan Green PMD: 8
Great strain for sure and something that definitely belongs in the "special occasion" stash. It's got a very unique alkaloid profile, able to take high doses without the spins but I'm sure the spins would kick in at a certain dosage. It's inevitable. Its a slow green, with noticable head effects and slight energy production. Average duration of 5hrs. I like this strain a lot and will be ordering more soon.

MitraMan Red JongKong: 8
Another awesome strain from MM, which in reality should have scored higher but I'd look like a shill placing all MitraMan strains at the top. Very bitter and quite noticable effects. Reserved for the "special occasion" stash with a nice duration of 5+ hours. Did I mention its very bitter? If bitterness says anything about alkaloid content then this strain certainly let's you know the alkaloids are there.

RVA Green BigBang: 7.2
Slightly above average, but with this being the only bag I had for a few days I think it got old for me. Always try to keep a rotation but it did the trick. Nice subtle onset with a 4hr duration. Mildly bitter fine grind and easily dissolved in my coffee.

MitraMan Green Thai: 7.1
Good strain from MM, definately satisfactory with a good 4-5hr duration. This is one of my default strains, but not one of my special occasion strains. Depending on body chemistry this may be a home run for you, as other users described this strain as phenomenal.

Canopy Pink Elephant: 5.2
Average 4hr mid spec strain .. Good to fall back on but nothing special. I believe this is a proprietary blend by Canopy using whites and reds. Few years back users were going nuts over this strain, but I must have missed the bus because the one I got was just average.

Botanical Bunny Green Vietnam: 5
Another average strain to keep on the back burner. I seen some great reviews for this but again, it was just average for me. 4hr duration, mild effects, but it works.

RVA Gold MD: 4.5
Slightly below average, earthy woody taste with mild bitterness. Good for a backup and hopefully gets better with age. 3.5-4hr duration but need to dose heavy on this one to make it work.

Otie's Red Horn: 3.2
Meh, I got a bag of this and it was great, so when I went back to get more it was a completely different batch that barely even worked. I was a bit upset about that. When things like that happen it does not reflect well back on the vendors QC.

Canopy Red Asia: 3
Nothing to write home about. Sort of works with frequent dosing but sure beats a blank. Ive revisited this strain multiple times hoping I'd get something worthy of it, but it never happened. Not much bitterness and a very earthy, dirt, taste.

Nugroz White MD: 2.8
I got some great stuff from Nugroz over in Borneo, but this ain't one of them, which is why I still have this stuff after 2 years. Sort of bitter but no real effects aside from warding off wd's. Need a heavy dose to make this one work.

Took me a minute to figure out where I went wrong, but think ive got it figured out now.

What I did was upload all the photos at once in image BB, then went through the images one by one, copy/pasted the image URL, then wrote the review. It looks like I uploaded the red JK twice. I'll edit them together into one. I had one rating an 8 and the other rating an 8.5 so we'll go with an 8.25 average lol!!

Intrigued now on MMs yellow MD. Haven't seen much feedback on that one. Green MD now is always consistent and solid.

just want to add, i also have same reaction to nugroz, mine is about 2/10, my body don't agree with anything with the word nugroz.

I still didnt try any of the oties, but you left red horn for 3.2 rating saying it only worked first time well. You know i come to think about it, i did leave some reviews in past that are not supposed to be that high. I wonder why the first couple burns are great and then no matter how much you try its below average. This is just pure assumption and speculation but is it possible some vendors add few scoops on top of your bag the good stuff and leave below average on bottom? Or same batch shifted with quality? Its mind boggling.

I really know what consistency is, all the way down to the bottom quality to the last drop. when you throw the bag away, you look back at and say to your self, what a great vendor experience it was. And i believe if you can't finish the bag or something keeps you postponing or body keeps disagreeing then you will simply ignore it and have negative impression of the vendor. I agree i enjoyed everything so far from mitrman. But trying out TFH i noticed i liked some more then other but its unique experience in its own way. Love the true malay. I also know people that dose to often lose track how kratom even suppose to feel like and do wrong judgment. I rather always listen to a review from someone who gives enough time in between a dose to make a true judgment,. i prefer 24 hour gap or least 12 hours. 6 hour you could still have old kratom over lap to your new dose. sometimes i think we all should say how long the gap time was before the test dose, what ya'll think?

I knowI wouldn't judge a batch on quality if it wasn't at least 12 hours after my first burn, really I need to judge it first dose? Anything I dose after my first burn is meant to compliment what I dosed first thing in the morning, kratom has a lot longer hang time than some realize....and for what it's worth I've only had one Nugroz, it was green Nugroz from Liza and it didn't do a thing for me but my favorite batches hardly ever get raved about on here so there is something to personal chemistry with batches....

Oh, definatly cant judage a batch by one dose, even if it did work the first time, I agree it must be consistent, one of my favorite whites was white Malay from SOSA, I also love their yellow Vietnam and white Bali, those are just a few I've not seen here that were highly praised, I do love their red Malay and Baik Bali that DID get plenty of press here a while back. I also have some great ones from Fused Flora and Benni that have been getting honorable mentions, I'd have to look at my stash to remember a lot of my favorites, it changes all the time!!

I absolutely love the Green Nugroz and Super Green Nugroz from Benni. Ordered multiple times across several batches and its always really good. The Green Nugroz is the prototypical "slow green", while the Super Green Nugroz adds a little energy but a huge mental clarity boost. I keep these two in rotation and always order more before I run out.

I have a lot of BB, Canopy, Mystic, etc. that is all no good. Took me a while to find out that PMD is the only one that really works for me. Sad bc I stocked up during ban scares. I probably have 15 kilos of stiff I will never use.... An unfortunate waste of money. I have still have to order new btaches even though I have a huge stash bc the stuff just does not work. Hundreds of dollars down the drain...

Btw, RVA is my go to. Cheapest and best I have found.

Not yet, all of them was good for me, this is what all vendors should aim... like what some vendors dont understand if they do some sneaky stuff people would just lose trust to buy from them because that one batch filled their hearts with regrets.

Maybe a lot of vendors are taking notes of what NOT to do....once you go down that road your business will quickly become a NO NO to the community like...Herbal Salvation and Mystic Island and....Gaia...ugh!!! Word of good vendors spread quick to the community, just ask Mitra Man how many new orders he's had now that he has a website..

Yeah Herbal salvation back in a day was my go too, as well as Gaia in reddit days... Problem was, when every the other batch is shit, you feel you got cheated. Sure they have gems here and there but when it feels like out of 100%, 20% is decent or ok, its time to move on... My mistake was i believed people and would waste a lot money by not getting samples... Thats the only regret, right now after years of experience buying, i started to do sample before i buy something.. Like i tried all fused samples and got 7ohm sample coming in.. Doesn't mean i will buy from them but if i do, i will understand what my nose will dip into. But more trusted vendors like Mitraman or THF i really dive in. Even thought not all THF i like but he does have Gold nuggets in there without a doubt and he tries best to sell tested stuff. It does seem every vendor has their own source signature if its from one source, and no matter what names vendors give to kratom, it has all something in common.. Like Sosa Reds, when even some green seem like red, What i like doing is mixing up different sources and surprisingly i get some very good blends going where as if i had only one vendor i would not be able to tell or so that. But i am convinced mixing up different sources can be one unique kratom experience. And if you trying mixing up 2 or 3 fires from different vendors, you will have awesome experience. On the other hand if you want something not so fire or no edge, just normal clean day you can do decent average mix with your best one. Would def advice testing and finding out your fav mix especially if you got a stash. I think what is wrong with most vendors is, they get to greedy and stop caring about quality until they realize they are going down the hill but its to late.. its not like people dont have social media where they can talk about everything, one way or the other people will realize. That's exactly right brave777. First determine quality, and then determine if it's a good fit for you (body chemistry). Case in point for me is Soultanic Greenery. I know his strains are money, but his old growth, dense, heavy stuff just doesn't work for me. This body chemistry profiling is something Gumby@TFH is working at. That's why it's important to complete his strain reviews. So maybe one day he can profile a new user with a recommended strain list and eliminate expensive guess work.

I was tempted to buy from mystic but i am happy i didnt , thanks to this forum and all the negative reviews about them. I do feel bad for those who fell victim to junk sell out. And their excuse was they switched source and got screwed? really? thats all people get? I also think, when a source is switched people should have the right to know. Because it should be treated as brand new vendor just with same name because a new source can carry its own kratom signature. Like that all green same bunk from Mystic that everyone talked about. Didnt matter the name.

I had amazing leaf from mystic in the past. Unfortunately I also got bunk leaf from them so I ended up not ordering from them anymore.... but damn was that mystic vampire great when it was legit. I stick to STH now and never have any quality issues.
