I search from batches between 2015-2017. Unfortunately i noticed quality decline after 2017 ... Do anybody have sacred batches from this time frame? I would pay a nice amount of money for 50g of that, nothing crazy amounts. The best would be if you are in EUROPE. Thanks!

This isn't so much a result of kratom being better back in the day, its more that there was less "bad" kratom on the market. Years ago most kratom was primarily wild-sourced. Around 2010-2013 plantations started popping up, but they plantations absolutely exploded in early 2017. The market was flooded with this new plantation leaf towards the end of 2017, and its been hit or miss ever since. Find a good vendor and it will be "just like the old days".

Yes you are right. I am still experimenting with vendors. I remember in the old times pretty much any type i bought (bali, maeng da, Green Malay etc. ) all was good. I miss that quality. And it is very hard to find now, because every vendor claims their kratom is the best. And the effects are subjective. Maybe who is new in kratom they are totally fine with the lower quality, because they don't know there is better.

Still, good vendors had crews "farmers" harvesting wild trees in 2017 ... remember there was a huge buying panic in November 2017.. with popularity booming, a false rumor was floated that DEA would schedule and ban kratom.

The 11-17 great panic. Every single online vendor (I looked at dozens!) got completely wiped out of stock.. many vendors still took Credit Cards online.. Big guys then like SoCal, sold tons within days.. So, December - every single active US vendor, 100+ guys all wanted to Buy! Buy! Buy! kilos from Indo. The hustlers and suppliers in Ponti, went nuts in January with tons of orders to fill.

So I really think that's IT January 2018. That's when quality really dropped - even guys like DG, put stuff up for sale in March... Meh. Much of 2018 was sub-par batches only after months of complaints, Indo's took notice.. that's when small batch quality began to appear, and some Indo's put up websites and began selling Retail, to consumers... The 2020 US kratom market has gone thru the roof in 3 years, now millions of consumer and 100's of active vendors...

Oh yes, you pretty much explained it. 2018 - January - when my good old kratom became weaker than a cup of hot chocolate The popularity gain was definitely bad for the quality ... At least it is not banned.

How much would shipping 50 grams of kratom internationally even cost? Surely more than the kratom itself. If you can even find a consumer (not a vendor, like most users here) that will willingly ship. If you find someone that will ship US to Eastern Europe during a pandemic, you should get enough kratom to make all the trouble worth it.

Yeah it is not cheap, that's why it would be the best if you are in Europe, because shipping is a lot cheaper and VAT are not a problem.

I contacted him & asked what was going on & he said his supplier was sending out top-level stuff like always. Right. Then I started seeing all the complaints online so I knew it wasn't just me, plus my older kratom worked just fine. This Kratom Russian Roulette is really a pain in the neck. What other industry sells stuff that may or may not be any good & the buyer is just SOL? I know it's hard for the vendors, too, but there really should be some sort of quality control.

I totally agree with you. The problem is Kratom is wild plant, it is hard to quality control them. Indonesian poor people just wants to make money, they don't even care the quality because we will buy it anyway. I would rather stop using kratom then using these weak meh strains all around the vendors. I am just tired of this Roulette, you are right. Old kratom was so euphoric still full of energy, and after a short pause (1-2 months) effects was still amazing. Now i had stopped like 6-12 months, tried it, weaker than a coffee ... Also the taste ... old times 1,5 grams was so bitter (because it was potent) i hardly could drink it. Now i easily drink 3 grams it has no taste ... I know lot of people says taste has do nothing with the effects ... I say this is wrong. The more bitter and goose bumpy the taste the more better it is. Sorry this is just how alkaloid works ... Every time i drinked the more bitter was the kratom the effects was way better.

No matter which vendor?? Just look on Reddit or FB - 100 n00bs saying, oh this is great! I really enjoy this kratom!!

Then... something happens. Most people apparently, think you're supposed to eat, 20, 30, gpd and eat more kratom every 2 hours? OK.. About a month later they're all complaining about "weak kratom" LOL, funny how the kratom is nice and potent for everyone.. Until a couple months later? suddenly s' not working?

Yeah that's a different point of view. I mentioned this before. When people don't know what a trully good kratom is(they just start out), they will just take the average quality (newbies) and praise it. I love btw how vendors just telling you : Bro it is just your tolerance, my kratom is gooood Which is very tricky because tolerance can cause you do not feel the kratom. Yeah and try different strain haha, even if it is the same.

And you are right ... kratom is a subjective plant. That's why it is so hard to find your best strain. But i bet a lot of people agree with me in this. I think Double M userbase is more experienced than reddit /r/kratom s userbase. I used to check reddit but they just don't share valuable informations. It is like an advertisement for kratom.
