after their extreme price hike, i just can't justify it. I see that they test and have the mitra percentage next to each batch which is nice, but i'm also buying split kilos for less than $100 from other great vendors and his prices are $170 for a four way split kilo and add shipping and it's virtually twice the amount of my other vendors!

Is it even worth it at that point financially at least? i'd like your experience and opinions of people who have been buying from them prior to their price hike too.

I ordered from them in the past because they are close to where I live. They had pretty good leaf, but no chance I'd pay those prices.

technically $170 for a 4 way SPLIT key, i think a key of just one is like $150 or $160 though, not sure. I never buy a whole key of just one kind though. it did get ridiculous. what other vendors do you use then since you haven't ordered from them in a while?

Many people DID express their opinions on Mewe, around 2 years ago when someone exposed this vendor as having a disgusting criminal history.. Not just your average Registered Sex Offender stuff either, the story was pretty bad.. Now I believe in second chances and all that, no further details - BUT the vendor got run off Mewe by a horde of angry folks waving torches and pitchforks... if ya get my drift.

I would STOP right there, at the high prices .. Kratom is kratom at some point. Some of the best kratom is around $100 per kilo, or LESS! Sure, the dude is an experienced vendor, prob has good Indo sources, and does have a customer base (who knows nothing about secret history) - His kratom is not the point here. It's his prices... and the other stuff

I think about this vendor from time to rime and wonder how their quality is. I have been recieving emails from them, so i checked and noticed their ridiculously high prices. I think they donate to the AKA, so I assumed that was part of the reason why. Their Green Vietnam was amazing back in the day when i first started out.

i know, their green vietnam was the best for me too. i wanted to buy more, but their prices are ridiculous even for the smallest amounts.

I found a couple old strains from him recently that I’d forgotten about from at least two years ago. I used to love his Green Vietnam and Green Borneo but either because of age or because my perspective on good Kratom has shifted, they did almost nothing for me when I tried them again. I was paying pretty typical prices for a kilo back then and find it utterly baffling why he would hike his prices so drastically. I’m amazed he’s held onto any sort of customer base.

Also, the criminal history is news to me. Kind of sickening because he was always needlessly asserting his faith and now it seems more manipulative than genuine. Especially with the price gouging.

Join Mewe. ask around.. iirc someone found a prison record. He tried to deny or explain it for about 2 days.. then quickly went in to damage control mode and it's amazing somehow the word never leaked out to FB .. again that was like 2 yrs ago on Mewe. Definitely some shady characters around the kratom "community" ...

After reddit banned sourcing and before I found double m I bought kratom from COB, it was a pretty bad time for finding good kratom but after watching Menthol on YouTube, I bought from COB and thought he had some amazing green Vietnam, green MD and JongKong, very shortly after I bought some green Vietnam from Ronnie Moncrief (seven breezes) and realized it was just as good as COB's and cheaper!

160-170 dollars for a kilo is a lot of money and I'd be willing to bet that Botanical Bunny buys from the same suppliers that COB does for example BB's batches that end with Jong Kong, I used to have COB's red MD Jong Kong and it looked exactly like the picture on BB's website? They also carry a green Vietnam..I know that's circumstancial but kratom that's half the price as another's and just as good saves a lot of money for the gamble!

The best red I've ever had came from COB (Red Agatha) but I've had plenty from other vendors that comes close enough, no kratom is worth what they charge mit-tested or not.
