Any Good Chocolate or Red Bentuangie?

Hello all, I used to be a nonstop lurker during the beginning of the American kratom wave, back in 2015 or so. I'm sad that the subreddit got all crazy strict a few years back, and I only just recently found out that this site was apparently what came out of the subreddit dying. I always went there for customer intel on strains and reviews of strains. So now that I have finally rediscovered my favorite subreddit, maybe you all can help me out?

Ever since SoCal became First Coast when they switched coasts, I have been struggling to find a red strain that does the trick for me. I used to love SoCal Chocolate Bentuangie and their Red Bali(s) but it seems most of that is gone nowadays. I have tried Motark Red MD (disappointing), Texas Herbs & Botanicals Chocolate Bentuangie (disappointing but not as much as Motark Red MD), and some reds from First Coast Tea which were all disappointing compared to the quality that was coming out of SoCal, their earlier company.

Can someone please refer me to some specific strains by someone known for quality? I have been looking and have been struggling to find satisfaction ever since SoCal changed and they stopped stocking their Bali and Bentuangie. I used to use Socal and Gaia, even DG back in the day, but lost my account info with him and Gaia isn't too great anymore either. There are too many new companies and it seems a lot of the old companies don't have that high quality anymore.

My goal is this:
1. Similar pricing as First Coast. $25 for 250g or a code for 75$ kilos
2. Chocolate or Red Bentuangie that is reviewed well
3. Strong red strains like Bali or something that is reviewed well.
4. Not a difficult path to purchase, accepts multiple forms of payment

Try Sacred Son and/or Smiley Time. That checks all 4 boxes. Sacred Son has $80 5way kilos with a code right now (read their thread in vendor listings subforum) and Smiley is always $85 4way free shipping. Both have a huge selection of reds and bents.

Asking for $75 is a little much, but there's always RVA.

When I am looking for specific batch/vendor info, I always use the search bar and look for reviews. If the vendor has a mewe or FB page, I look there too. Pretty much every vendor mentioned on this forum, is a giant step above the majority of kratom, in my experience. Also, are your desired prices, including shipping? A lot of great vendors have kilos for between $80-90, including shipping. Since everyone is different, I cannot say what will work for you, but here are my favorite bent vendors.

I am a huge Bent fan, specifically red and chocolate! For me, personally, MitraMan Botanicals and Texas Family Harvest have some of the best, by far. They also have excellent reds, in general. I have only tried a fraction of the TFH menu, so far. So, I would advise seeing if someone can send you a sampler, to try, or wait for their next open event.

For MitraMan, he is always available to answer questions about batches and help you figure out what would be best for you. His mewe community is also incredibly helpful for me to see how people feel about about specific batches. I have been ordering religiously for over a year and every order is even better than the last.

I also really like Sacred Son’s bents, a lot. I have not ordered from Sacred Son in a few months, but I have never had a bad batch. I have not tried most of his other reds, but he always has excellent bents. Plus, they posted about a Double M coupon, so it’s a great time to order.

I have had good bents and benty reds from Liza’s too! I think she prices a little higher though, from what I remember, as I haven’t ordered from her in a while.

Sosa Speciosa has great prices and great reds! I haven’t tried his Bent, though. Maybe some big Sosa fans can help you find some great batches to order!

I have yet to try bents at other popular vendors, like Benni, Fused Flora, HeavenLeaf, Goldfumed, etc. But, if they are as great as the rest of their leaf, then they are probably excellent, too! There really are just so many great vendors! I hope this helps!

Thank you Damen and DNA. That was super helpful, I think I'll try each one of those you mentioned. Not all at once, of course, but I want to get familiar with the family of vendors on here, MeWe, and Discord. So I'm doing just that!
