Ok. Been doing research and heard such good things about helping with withdraw from opiates. I did go to a smoke shop more bc I was desperate and short on time but since have ordered from mitra man. I was almost shocked at how well it worked at just 2.5g. My heart has been so grateful and relieved. Going on day 5. It's a miracle. However, I've noticed after I take these capsules that I bought, my kidneys ache. Maybe sounds dumb but haven't seen anyone have a problem like that. Is it hard on your body/liver? Or it is in my head? Maybe it's this shit that I got from a smoke shop? I'm pretty healthy otherwise and dont drink and ive only been taking it for four days at a normal dose at a time. I absolutely know we're not doctors here but hope someone will throw me a bone and give me some input. Any and all feedback is welcome and will be appreciated. Hope to continue this love affair, no way it's worse than shit pharmaceuticals right? And how long does it usually take to arrive?

Obligatory "not a doctor, but.." your kidney pain could be from dehydration. Kratom can be dehydrating and when you take it you need to make sure you are drinking plenty of water and staying hydrated. If this doesn't help or if your pain continues outside of kratom use, please see a medical professional. Hope that you package arrives soon and that you find the relief you need.

I've been taking kratom on and off for years, but have only been taking it this time for about two months, however I too have noticed kidney pain recently. I've been trying to drink things that will help flush them out. I really like lemon in water as the lemon helps with my dose too! Of course cranberry juice also! It seems to be working so far. I'm not a physician, and per the other comments seek out professional help if this persists. For myself, I had to greatly increase the amount of water I was drinking once I started to take Kratom. 60 -90 ounces a day minimum.

I think you're on the right track. Stay around 2.5 !! Kratom has not been studied much, unfortunately.. BUT it's now has a long, history in USA - your best Knowledge Base is Reddit. NOTE: There seems to be a RARE condition, that effects maybe 1 in every 200 people? that IS harmful to the Liver. It's like a rare disease, maybe a birth defect or something ? some people can't process kratom (or other things), so again.. check Reddit.

EDIT: You know, you're supposed to sanitize raw kratom powder, with boiled water... U know that, right?

Thank you all for replying. The reddit links have always been so helpful. As to sanitizing, Ive been looking for about an hour and all ive seen is take a sip of water and a tsp of the kratom powder. Im sure if I keep looking Id find it but why not ask the experts. Sanitizing? Am i to guess a tsp is equal to one gram? How long should i expect for the shipment from mitra man? And trust me I am researching constantly too as well as the forums. Thanks

My problem is compiling my thoughts into written word. If we could have number system 1-5 or 10 on different attributes or effects of Kratom Per strain and vendor that would be awesome. Like a google shared doc.You could also post a little review if you wanted.

If you want to sanitize, put the Kratom in near boiling water for 5-10 minutes.
1tsp is closer to 3 grams, but it can vary widely. Do yourself a favor and invest in a cheap kitchen scale. You can find them online (Amazon) for as little as $10. Definitely a necessity for any kratom user.
Priority mail takes 2-4 days normally, but keep in mind there's a pandemic and protests that are affecting the postal service. Did you get a tracking number? If not, you might email and ask for one..then go to USPS.com and track it, it will have the estimated delivery date and will update when it's in your town, then out for delivery, etc.
