Other Pain - Relief Combos

Hey guys,

I've seen some specific combos that people swear by for pain relief, however they've usually contained a strain that I don't have or that's out of stock.

I've been dealing with severe pain for almost 20 years (it started when I was a minor). I've dealt with it using kratom for a decade, but it's only helped so much. My introduction to MM couldn't have come at a better time, because the trigeminal neuralgia and TMD are getting unbearable!

If you don't mind, please share your favorite strains or combinations for severe pain. I've been able to pick up quite a few strains from FF, STH, Benni's, and MM, and I'll have TFH on the way soon. It's hard to keep taking it and only experiencing minor relief, so I'm hoping your ideas get me there sooner.

Hey there veteran. For chronic pain, kratom is not enough.. For one, it only lasts a few hours. But take it all day, will destroy your tolerance.. So.. what I hear from many is adding 1- Agmatine sulfate, and 2- CBD. Stack those two with kratom, to give better pain relief - have you tried that combo?

Yes, back when Powder City was around. I'm stacking kratom and CBD, but I'll find some Agmatine again. I've been a daily user for years. I still can't increase my dosage, though, or I get the wobbles. I'm sorry you're suffering! Thank you.

Hi Jestrice, I have chronic pain too. I usually take 2 big teaspoons every 4 hours. There are days the only thing kratom provides is about 30 % relief. The other 70% I'm feeling pretty buzzy headed, so it at least helps distract me from the pain mentally. On those days I also smoke some high cbd hemp. I'm really feeling it today in my low back. It feels like someone took a cheese grater to it You did a good thing by ordering from TFH. They are a big part of my arsenal. I just tried something, bc the pain is on another level. I mixed a big heaping teaspoon each from 3 vendors (Lucky Herbals/super green, borneo blast, yellow bali., Denette615/white sumatra. , and TFH/red Premium Maeng da). my normal 2 big teaspoons. It's been 1/2 an hour and you know what...it really helped! (It should be noted I also took an ibuprofen 800, and my regular antidepressants for the nerve pain) Ibuprofen is BAD for the stomach so I only do that in severe circumstances. I know how you feel, it's very difficult. Hang in there. Maybe try blending a couple-seriously, I'm impressed.
ps, of those you mentioned I've only tried mitraman and TFH.

Thank you! Now that you mention it, I also put in my first order with denette a couple days ago. I'm sure I'm forgetting others, too. I've been trying combinations, but my experimentation hadn't been as successful as previous. I also apparently have a very limited dosage range; even using my Herbal Salivation spoon, I still slip into wobbles territory easily. I'm usually at a heaping teaspoon, about. And yes, the occasional 800mg advil, when I'm desperate.

I'm sorry you know my pain, but I appreciate you sharing your go-to combos. I'll make sure I have those and try your methods. It just REALLY sucks when I take kratom, it doesn't touch the pain, and I'm dying to take just a little more of anything to make it better.

I also have a Quell unit - it's a little TENS unit that goes around your calf. I have a hard time wearing it with the little one, but it really does help. Just in case you're looking for other options, too.

I love lizas RHSC itz a red blend i often use alongside just about any strainn or as a stand alone
It works well for my fibro flares.

oh yesss. I have a tens unit , thanks for reminding me I'm for sure getting it out tonight. When my back does this I can't sit on my butt. I'm not even kidding, it hurts too much. Then I lay on my side, that starts in too. lol

Oh, you're on top of it! That sucks. I know what you mean, though. No matter how I lie oh this pillow, just my head touching it kills me. I turn, and that hurts, too.

I wish there was more to do. I'm at the point where I've had multiple surgeries, and I've gone as far as total TMJ replacement. It seems like the trauma from any surgery just causes something else to go wrong!

This morning was a bad day for me. I took 1g Akuamma with 5g Red Borneo. Both were from Liza. First time I’ve ever taken Akuamma and it worked like a charm ! Also made me sleep all day lol.

I used to have ssv arsenal of flowers, herbs, etc. I don't know why I stopped; I think they were helping. I'll have to get into that again and share the experience. Different lotus colors and African Warrior flower helped the most. I'd just sit there and devour dried bud, stems and all.

Yeah you have to be kind of careful with gabapentinoids, they're not nearly as bad as benzodiazpines but should definitely be used with sparingly. However using them when you have really bad pain with kratom works extremely well, take the gabapentin about 1 hour and 45 mins before the kratom.

Thank you for the advice! I was under the impression that if have to continue taking the gabapentin for any therapeutic effect, but I like your way better.

Hi there! I think we've talked about TFH on the FB group KSG Unfiltered. I agree with adding in CBD. Either sprinkle the isolate in with your tea or try Plant Therapy's CBD for pain. They have different lines with different isotopes that target different issues, like pain, anxiety, or sleeplessness. You might also look into Dr. Papa's The Blend. It's a full spectrum tonic that includes essential oils. Best of luck!
