Re: blending
It's my understanding that a lot of "strains" vendors provide are already blends. They're more of a "brand".

Yea I've heard much is already blends. If we're blending "blends" you would think the whole thing just becomes " Kratom ". So the unblended kratom that they start with would be ?? Green and red?

I really wouldn't doubt if a lot of these blends are just one strain of kratom to begin with. There's been an explosion of "new kratom" (more like new names/creative marketing) in the last two years. Now, that is getting old, so they have to figure new ways to sell the old stuff. You can't really prove if it's blended or not, right?

Bingo. Strains, haha.. show me the White kratom tree please!A lot of "strains" vendors provide are already blends. They're more of a "brand".
It's all marketing BS and they're all blends. There IS a Recipe Book, which has been around for years.. Whether they're "blending" leaves from 2 trees on the same harvest .. or blending from different batches of leaves/ different drying processes. Most kratom leaves are Red. Many sources don't even separate the green & red leaves at all.
Usually when someone says "blends", they are talking about US vendor blends. Products sold by US vendors, who mix together the "strains" they buy.. giving it goofy names/ and hiding the original Indo names.. which usually are 1- Color and 2- Location. "Red Hulu" etc.
Personally I hate vendor blends. I wanna know the Indo source IF possible. US vendors try to hide their source. I get that...
I wanna blend my own , with objective of mixing a Full Spectrum of alkaloids.. Hopefully from different Indo sources. Just common sense, that would give the best chance of alkaloid combo's. Why blend, if you're just using the same Indo source?
I don't want US vendors screwing with my Indo kratom. They are middle-man only. Bag it and don't touch it please!!
Enhanced Blends is a different product. Most extract is USA made, so Enhanced leaf is a treat for experienced kratom fans!

That's what I'm talking about. If you have two kinds of trees give me the leaf from each in a separate bag and let me try it.BallzDeep9 wrote:I don't want US vendors screwing with my Indo kratom. They are middle-man only. Bag it and don't touch it please!!![]()

I always try new strains on their own two or three times then I blend based on my desired results.

This, exactly. Vein colors and names are only as good as they help me remember what a specific strain does. I -always- and -only- blend for effects. There's no point otherwise.I always try new strains on their own two or three times then I blend based on my desired results.
So in that sense it doesn't matter at all to me personally if I'm getting a vendor's blend or a single strain. I buy a lot of K-OG, for example, and a number of those offerings are Harry's own strains. I might use them as-is, or add them to a blend of my own: it's all about how that particular kratom affects me personally and how I want that particular dose to hit.
In other words... it's ALL good.
