New Kid on the Way!

Post by Jestrice2002 »

No, not a human, but my raccoon will soon have a sister!

I just had to tell you guys, because I wanted to share the name I came up with tonight.

Mazikoon! <3

That's all. Goodnight, everyone!

Yeah, wild ones are, well crazy wild, lol. These are from a breeder. That's the only way you can get them under a permit here. Otherwise, if the wildlife commission finds out, they just kill them.

Panhandle Exotics, the same place Annabelle came from. They're kind of be sisters anyway; they have the same parents. There's only so much I can do for one (and the house is practically a little jungle gym for her already). This way, she'll have a friend all the time!

I loved the book Rascal when I was a kid.

Do they really wash stuff in water before eating?

Yep! And they make the same touchy-Feely movements outside of water, too. They love touching things.

How cute! We don't have coons here in Hawaii.

The closest thing would be the wild wallaby colony in Kalihi Valley; I suspected it was an urban myth, and so did a lot of people, but then someone found an injured one and the zoo came and nursed him back to health and put him in an exhibit, lol.

Oh, wow! They are freaking adorable! That's really neat that you've got a little cooking over there. I've only ever seen a couple online. Plus Rocko, and his modern life. ;)
