Are you an individual buyer or a business buyer? With how cheap kratom is stateside right now, I really don't think there is any reason to be buying from Indo and waiting a month...

I am an individual buyer and I supply 3 friends ..I have bought stateside but I started buying 10 kilos at a time when the shipping issues happen ...so my box finally moved ..this last time was extract and baby lobster! supposedly! I also like small box Indo suppliers.Kratomdistro wrote:Are you an individual buyer or a business buyer? I've had an Indo order arrive on my doorstep 9 days after I made the order. That's rare obviously. I had another take 2 months.

Me too. Erin, how do you see the current situation with Pos Indonesia, postal shipping?erinarthur wrote: I also like small box Indo suppliers.
I did have one seized by FDA. That's been over 1+ years ago. Smaller supplier he labeled it Green Tea.

Ditto everything BallzDeep9 said.
I heard an unsubstantiated rumor this week about limiting shipments going out via the shipping methods BallzDeep9 mentioned, to 3 kilos. I’ve not been able to find anything more on that, yet. Everything else is going by tons on ships. Some smaller vendors are joining forces with regard to getting orders large enough COMBINED with other vendors (from different sources near one another) to meet shipping export sizes without any bickering or comparing or hiding “secrets”. Teamwork in the community helps us win so many challenges. Shipping together is healthy for the industry as nobody compromises their product uniqueness or their fees, etc. Win/win.
Speaking of teamwork, but off topic entirely, I’m hoping the vendors who have “clean rooms” can rent out their rooms to those who cannot build their own. In a perfect world, lol.
Back to topic, please post again if anyone gets updated information on specs for shipping out of Indo.
I definitely agree with BallzDeep9 on this sourcing not being necessary when there is so much very good quality product at very good, fair prices in our country already. Lots of these stateside vendors chip in for long term kratom legality and support for ALL VENDORS in the US. None of the brokers in Indo get proper handling, meet any cleanliness standards and they do not contribute to any future in the business. Some ALSO make medical claims on shiny pamphlets to pass around to make sales and consequently further degrade the fight to keep it legal/like collateral damage. Even Indonesia is not convinced in the long term farming just yet. One health minister is on board. Only one.
Hey @Erinarthur, thanks for posting your concerns on this and please check back if you learn more? I will, too! Great forum topic and hope you get your order soon!

Re: InDo Shipping issues >>
................... My guy has been using UPS that last couple of shipments ..and when it does move it moves pretty fast and I sweat Louisville every time it goes through there. It's my understanding that POS stopped shipping a while back they may do a couple of kilos but that's not cost-effective for the indos . My friend and I placed a cargo order my part is just 10 hers is larger ..so far we still have no tracking .. it been about a week. I honestly think it depends on the shipping agent also.BallzDeep9 wrote:Me too. Most of my Indo orders were a couple years ago and we know it's changed... Are yours going through Pekrindo? Re routed? Some of the more professional Indo's route through Singapore or even China (which takes much longer)...

Re: InDo Shipping issues >>
I have heard that since they changed the law on how to label the boxes now they are backed up with Indo customs checking proper labeling .So the indos tell me the whole process is backed up and the boxes sit in a queue for a bit. dunno if this is true or not. My indo friend told me after 2 months he got loud with his agent and it moved the next day. your welcome ..the shipping issues are very important to all.INSENSE3 wrote:Ditto everything BallzDeep9 said.

Re: InDo Shipping issues >>
As per usual - only rumors...
Please try to remember and post your actual experience in getting your packages this time, @erinarthur. One experience does not make a routine, but actual true experience of one shipment beats nuthin (some folks are getting air cargo through, but it is NOT less expensive than product already in the US AT ALL). Prices double before it leaves using air.

Something, some Plan of Action or proposal needs to happen... Right now, Kratom is being dumbed down by USA profiteers
So the whole shipping situation, between FDA/ DEA shadow bans,
A totally separate channel must be created, for Indonesia product ~ Brand names!
Shipment of this Premium Import product, has been done in distributed manner - 100 shipments of 50 kilos each, a LOT more work for packaging etc (compared to 5 Tons by cargo) and re-routing through China - BUT the FDA cannot possibly stop/ inspect 100's of small packages? Again I just don't see competitors either USA or Indo, cooperating together? It's been "Every Man for Himself"... sure a "Teamwork" model would make sense in theory ~ In reality how would this come together? Someone or some group, would need to pencil out the numbers I guess?

Re: InDo Shipping issues >>
Definitely an excellent summary of the situation. Nobody said it would be easy (except for a lot of guys who think it looks easy enough to “fill their down time” while they’re on unemployment anyway)...omg
Amazing things happen in this industry, and some unacceptable stuff does, too. Ugliness. Corruption. Yup
EVERYTHING needs fixing ALREADY. Absolutely all good points.
SOME cooperation is going on. Some actually works well on a super small scale.
The industry hardly even existed a decade ago. I mean, nobody knew about it hardly and everyone was using sandwich bags and a magic marker.
We’ll see.. see you there!
