Chronic Pain- Blend Help!!
Hey all! So I have major chronic pain issues and I’m looking at kratom as a possible thing to help as an add on to my regimen.
I started taking red bali at night, and it helps, but I don’t feel it’s sedative enough for my pain and insomnia. I think I need a good light red for day, or maybe a good green (the focus would be nice)? And a heavy red for night. I would really appreciate any recs you all have in that department.
I’m currently going through mitragaia, and both my boyfriend and I are pretty happy with their quality. I’m just so lost in the blends.
Any help is so appreciated. Thanks guys!

Have you tried mixing reds with golds? That’s what I do on really bad pain days. For some reason, that combo seems to hit the spot.

As I understand it, sun dried leaf has higher levels of 7-hydroxymitragynine, which is mostly responsible for the analgesic effects of kratom. To the best of my knowledge, this includes many of the 'super' strains that various vendors offer, and I think they might help alleviate some of your ailments. Steve at 7OHM has a wonderful batch of Super Green MD that is completely sun dried leaf, and quite an effective painkiller. Best of luck to you, I hope you start to feel better soon.

That vendor is not real popular... Too many bad reviews. Caught with Salmonella in their kratom. Dirt cheap bulk imports. And, they're trump turdsearthlove17 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 3:25 am I’m currently going through mitragaia, and both my boyfriend and I are pretty happy with their quality. For stronger effects/ better pain relief (1) Get some quality Small Batch kratom, from a "vetted" vendor.

I second what Ballz said. I've been using Mitragaia and their leaf is at best average. It seems to be ok for the 2 others I live with, but they have very a very low tolerance and I will be introducing them to some Green Hulu from Lucky Herbal's later on this week. I know it will work better than Mitragaia as I have had excellent leaf before and they're not it. Once I get a comparison I am going to write a an in-depth review of them and how they compare to quality leaf. Maybe some people new to Kratom will find it and avoid them in the future.

Mitragaia is all the same batch labeled as different strains. Worst big vendor ever.

I came to it off headshop powder, so I guess the quality never really affected me.
Thank you so much for all your advice!
Are there specific blends from vendors on that list that you’d recommend?

What an excellent solution using tea as a booster.BallzDeep9 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 4:28 pmThat vendor is not real popular... Too many bad reviews. Caught with Salmonella in their kratom. For stronger effects/ better pain relief (1) Get some quality Small Batch kratom, from a "vetted" vendor.(2) Brew Kratom Tea, and use Tea as a booster for your regular serving of powder... works like an extract. More relief, without eating more plant material... use an Aeropress. Search Bar ^ for that. Good luck!

Can u expand on what u mean by tea working like an extract? I mainly tnw and when I tried tea (many diff methods of brewing) I was never that happy with it. Never thought of using it on top of powder as a boost tho.BallzDeep9 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 08, 2021 4:28 pmThat vendor is not real popular... Too many bad reviews. Caught with Salmonella in their kratom.
