What's with the new look for mobile?

I haven't logged on In a few days, so this may already being discussed, but what happened? I really liked the old style. I'm sure I'll learn to like this too, just wondering why the change.

It’s a bit of a technical reason, but basically this:

The old forum was running on a version of PHP (link if you’re interested in learning more) that is severely outdated and support for it is about to be discontinued, so we had to update the forum software. Without the update, the old forum wouldn’t function anymore as of next month when the server rolls out the newest PHP version and discards the older versions.

The old design simply wasn’t compatible with the updated software so some things had to be adjusted. The bright side is that with this updated software we are able to provide more functionality for the site like notifications, faster loading, and more.

Yes, the new look threw me off too. I saw all the red texts and thought I did something wrong, lol. I'm getting used to it though .
