Restock Status/Updates

Hi Guys,

I apologise, I apparently live under a rock. I went to MI's site this morning and was horrified at how few strains they have in stock right now. Since then I've been scouring DoubleM trying to figure out why, and I've only managed a few snippets here and there.

So far, from what I've gathered, no one is receiving shipments out of Indonesia right now. Is this why the MI and a few others I've checked are out of so many strains?

If so, why did they (Indonesia) stop shipping? Will they start shipping again? Does anyone know when?

I've seen a few others ask similar questions and if there isn't a thread for this already, can we start a thread for vendor restock status/updates/etc.?

Yes, that's the reason so many vendors are low on stock. But kratom shipments to the US -are- coming through, just very slowly; it's not like there's nothing at all coming in.

There's another recent thread on this as well where a couple vendors piped up to say the same thing, that shipments are coming through but slowly, and they anticipate the situation to change for the better soon:

If you like something from your favorite backpacker, I would suggest getting it now. I just spoke with my farmer that I was buying my crushed leaf from, and he told me that he can no longer ship anything under 20 kilograms to me, under rules of his new shipping company. I can't buy 20 kgs of crushed leaf. I'd be sitting on it until 2030. There's just not a big enough market for it.

I honestly wouldn't doubt that prices could go up, what with more competition out of the way. That's just my two cents, though.

Interesting. More than 1 source has posted this week, it's the exact opposite. Under the new EMS deal, a MAX of 5 kilos may be shipped. No large packages. That information was posted by Jon @ RVA, this week, among others... again that refers to POS Indonesia shipping through EMS.

Mystic island said they are restocking today

Hello everyone,

Thank you all for your patience. I can assure you that just as we have been giving multiple dates as to when we were going to be restocked the same thing was happening to us on our end which has been extremely frustrating. We surely were not trying to give out misinformation in some futile attempt to keep leading our customers on. With that being said we should have some of our reds restocked tomorrow by close of business. We actually received a time window that we are to expect the truck delivering our new stock which is a first. Unfortunately this shipment will be only our reds, hopefully follow on shipments will make it through within a week or two consisting of greens, whites and yellows. Our plan at the moment is to get Vampire, Red Bali, RMD, Mermaid, and Big Red One up on the site by the end of tomorrow with the remainder going up on our site by Friday close of business. Also, I can echo what Hippe said about POS starting to ship again in a few days, but as with most information that comes from halfway across the world nothing is set in stone. We truly do appreciate everyone who has been with us from the original DoubleM sub on Reddit to all those who have came to the Island between then and now. Nothing lasts without a solid foundation and for us that is you all. Hopefully we can continue on this path without the down time in between moving forward. Thank you for the info/updates. I'm holding out for the greens myself. MI's green Bali, green md, and green Malay are the shizzle for me. (And I feel a little guilty that I haven't yet posted a review of them on here.)
