t-break support thread
approximately 21 hours into my first proper t-break in a long long time. feeling very proud of myself- I’ve been so anxious and scared to take the leap of faith, started and chickened out a few times, but last night I got fed up decided to just go for it.
it honestly hasn’t been easy (I think my past withdrawals from stronger stuff affects me a bit, psychosomatically) but I am honestly starting to feel a bit better. I am so eager to see how far I can go- I’m not gonna overexert or torture myself but seeing as 24 hours is just around the corner, I’m feeling a bit empowered. just making it to tomorrow afternoon will feel like such an accomplishment. I know to some I might sound like a bit of a drama queen but I can’t remember the last time I went this long without any cheating whatsoever.
I’m in the midwest so it’s 11 pm rn, I’m already a night owl but I have a feeling a will be up on the later side tonight thanks in part to withdrawals. have a stack of melatonin, valerian, camomile, Gabapentin and possibly gauifenesin (my ex / bestie says it really helps her with the nervy restlessness body discomfort) all prepared for bedtime.
I also have a hydroxyzine prescription for my anxiety and to help with sleep- went to the ER for what ended up being a severe panic attack a couple summers ago and was thrilled to discover there’s actually fast acting anxiety meds out there that aren’t benzodiazepines. obviously Atarax isn’t nearly as strong, but as someone who refuses to even take a risk with Rx benzos but still struggles with pretty severe panic episodes and physical anxiety, it’s been an absolute blessing- it’s shocking to me that more people aren’t prescribed it as an alternative to narcotic anti-anxiety meds.
anyways lol, I’m mostly just writing this for posterity and to vent and ofc if anyone is around, chat (especially with any folks that also might be currently on break). my night owls and my west coasters and international folks, let me know how it’s going to night!

Re: t-break support thread
My kratom schedule which I thought a lot about and just started to implement is Sun/Weds/Sat/holidays. Helps keep the leaf hitting, noticed that sometimes the mood boost of kratom will carry over into the next day and I won't feel an all-encompassing need to have a dose, like how kratom makes me feel like I don't want alcohol, it's making me not want its own self sometimes.
I DO take hirsuta/javanica on break days if I feel like I need it, and it helps.
Good job on the T-break shornsilk, keep it up! If you feel adventurous, watch some vids of people removing dilated pores of winer (extremely large blackheads). That will get your mind off kratom, lol. It's my stress relief. WWW.drpimplepopper.com, www.pimpleprincess.com. Bahahaha.

hell yeah! congrats on the new regimen! super aspirational- I am determined to get there (or somewhere similar) one day hopefully not too far away! after 5+ years, I am really ready to treat kratom with the respect and discipline it deserves and requires. I’ve come a long way from 6-7 gram doses (haven’t taken that much in one go in a couple years) and have really begun to get a glimpse of the benefit of moderation and intentionally- I’m a strong believer in this philosophy in theory (many such cases I’m sure lol) but actually applying it requires some true willpower (especially those of us who have struggled with the pitfalls of addiction).
honestly if it weren’t for me becoming more active on here in recent time, I doubt I would be taking a break right now. initially I just joined as one of the many Reddit refuges, mostly to lurk / keep an eye on the vendor and strains reviews, but I’m glad I finally decided to engage and poke around more! super grateful for all the feedback and support I’ve gotten here so far, its a great community.
good call with the soothing videos ! I definitely find a lot of the dermatology and pimple popping videos super satisfying and hypnotic tho some of those super big, deep explosive cystic ones are a little too much to stomach at times.
do you recommend anywhere in particular for getting ahold of hirsuta/javanica- I remember some Remarkable Herbs brand at my old headshop back in my store-bought leaf days (aka I was too lazy and couldn’t be bothered to place another order online or wait for it to arrive.. so much money wasted lol). wondering what you recommend and also what exactly the details are- all I really know is that they're slightly similar to kratom.
anyways thanks again! congrats and all the best of luck with the new schedule; I’m definitely feeling inspired!

Re: t-break support thread
I get my non-kratom botanicals from Fused Flora since he has everything needed and I can get it all in one fell swoop - hirsuta, javanica, blue lotus, akuamma, and magnolia bark. It's quality, too. A lot of other vendors are starting to carry hirsuta, but I've only seen one other place with javanica, nevermind the other stuff.

Would you be willing to share your routine with these herbs? Do you mix them togther, whats the dosage amount, do you take them before bed, etc. I'm sure lots of us would like to hear this info! Thanks.IndelibleDotInk wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 4:29 am I get my non-kratom botanicals from Fused Flora since he has everything needed and I can get it all in one fell swoop - hirsuta, javanica, blue lotus, akuamma, and magnolia bark. Re: t-break support thread
On days w/out kratom, I take hirsuta and javanica, about 5g each instead of a regular k dose if I'm jonesing.
Blue lotus extract I like to take a few grams at night before bed, still experimenting with it. I take it only sporadically, it's reputed to inspire dreaming. Am interested in steeping the petals in a drink if I get some down the road. (Shaun sells the petals as well as extract.)
Akuamma extract and magnolia bark extract I haven't really used extensively, would ask Fused for more info on these.

I have blue lotus extract too, still trying to figure it out. It does add a spacey element to things but it's got a godawful taste.

I find it to be a bit sweet and not unpleasant to take.AlwaysSunnyInVA wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 3:58 pm I have blue lotus extract too, still trying to figure it out. It does add a spacey element to things but it's got a godawful taste.
The akuamma is horrible tasting, I have to use an oblate.

I've heard of soaking the petals in wine for a few days but have not tried this myself.

I made Akkuma pills from fused flora. Very good for nights. Machine cost like 15$. It removed my headache real fast. Great stuff, i also hear Akuamma seed contains stuff help fight nasty flu. Always good to have as back up. May i say, once you make some pills, its the perfect thing to take for your T breaks. It just feels like weak Red kratom or good red kratom if you take sweet spot.from 3g to 6g. play around it yourself. And never take it raw, you will puke your brains out. Make sure to pill it, there is no other way. Do oblates safe? never had accident?IndelibleDotInk wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 4:03 pmI find it to be a bit sweet and not unpleasant to take.AlwaysSunnyInVA wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 3:58 pm I have blue lotus extract too, still trying to figure it out. I've done this with awesome results it turns alcohol into a slightly euphoric hypnotic sedative. I definitely recommend trying it if you're a responsible drinker sadly I'm not and don't drink alcohol at all anymore.AlwaysSunnyInVA wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 4:09 pm I've heard of soaking the petals in wine for a few days but have not tried this myself.

For those of you who find the Dr Pimple Popper vids enthralling, try Sumire Cooper Blackheads You Tube channel. There's classical music in the background & the visuals, though gross, seem to snag just about everyone. I showed one to my wife, who thinks pimple vids are sick, & she was quickly hooked.

It would seem like Akuamma (Akuammine) would cause WD's since it is a opioid (mu) antagonist. Interesting...IndelibleDotInk wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 11:28 am On days w/out kratom, I take hirsuta and javanica, about 5g each instead of a regular k dose if I'm jonesing.
