Regarding misinformation...

It's wild how much misinformation is out there about kratom, and how many myths are perpetuated by users unknowingly. I can't even step into any of the kratom subreddits for examples, and I imagine social media like facebook is full of the same - not necessarily damaging claims, but still false ones. Misconceptions like "Maeng Da is superior" or that strains are real things that only come from certain special kinds of trees. That kinda thing.

Do you ever try to correct it, when you come across it? I feel like it's important to try, but at the same time there's just so much that it can get overwhelming.

I've been trying to correct it for years now. When I first started there wasn't any info out there to enlighten us for the most part so in a world now where there is it def bugs me when I do hear the misinformed stuff

It's difficult because I love kratom so much; it's turned my life around for the better and that has made me passionate about it... and I'm fortunate enough to have found Double M, talked to all you lovely folks, and learned a lot from the users here and from the vendors themselves. Sometimes it's simple stuff that's easy to correct or even harmless enough to ignore, other times I want to grab the person and shake them lmao - just the other day I was talking to a family friend who swore up and down that unless a vendor is on the AKA's list, their kratom is adulterated and I was just floored.

Eh, the most important thing I know about kratom is that no one knows all that much about it. It's just too much wasted effort to care what someone on the internet thinks, let them swear by some 'brand name' or color/strain or whatever hoodoo they've come up with. It's like some people love terrible music, but hey, as long I don't havta hear it, we're all good ha-ha

Yeah, true. Normally I'd say 'to each his own' but I can't help but worry that there are others out there who'll try to get into kratom and read all the wrong stuff. Like, I wonder how many newcomers followed horrible advice like "grab a random bag from your gas station and take 10g to start" or, on the other end of the spectrum, "ONLY buy Bali strains because only kratom from Bali works" or some nonsense - makes me sad to think about how many people could be helped by kratom and then get turned away from it.

The MAIN thing, here in USA anyway, is... Money. Of course! Evil dirty Money, who's making the Big Money ? an organization AKA (which has done some good,) which needs Money and is comprised of several people who demand More Money and are associated with "Big Kratom" millionaires... who started the whole Legal High, head-shop, Kratom = Drug, ripoff, Viva Zen "shots"... This whole Industry is, and has been, developed as a SCAM to generate money from noobs.

HOW can this be ?? Simple - you can't overdose on Kratom. It's a very safe product, (with some nasty side effects for abusers,) but NO respiratory depression. So... Zero Liability. this IS a wonderful product!! Sell Sell Sell, promote, bullshit, Marketing, everything's OK when it comes to separating people from their Money! And... there are millions of dummies out there. Look how many # voted for Dirty Donnie Rump.

NOTE: Indonesians are "IN" on the SCAM - they see Americans as being very gullible and easily fooled, and a $1 Dollar goes a long, long, way over there.

That's my Rant for today. Thanks for posting.... I have gotten tired of correcting / trying to help. Time = Money. It takes time to write stuff, and doing a website would be expensive. Ballz, I just can't figure out why you feel it's ok to insult probably 50% of the Double M family.
