Hello Double M!

It's time for another contest, but not a kratom giveaway this time. And we won't be doing our standard "pick a number between 1-1000" format either. It's something a little fun and a little different than usual!

This time around we are giving away a Texas Family Harvest membership courtesy of Double M member Sassysquatch! They approached me a while back with an extra membership and thought it would be fun to do a contest. I agreed, got permission from Chris@TFH to give away a membership, and so here we are!

In the spirit of Sassysquatch's username, a question must be answered to enter the contest, and that question is:

"Do you believe in Bigfoot? Why or Why Not?"

Simply answer that 2 part question below and everyone who participates will have their names put into a hat and one lucky winner drawn! Make sure you thank Sassysquatch for offering up an extra membership to the Double M community! And I know many of you are actively a seeking a membership, so this should be fun way to get yourself one. This contest will close at 12AM CST on July 1st and a winner announced in a future post.

No. Reason is human's try to make sense of thing's even if they do not understand what they are seeing. Shadow's in the night,etc. We have a history of just making thing's up in our collective head's in order to make ourselves feel "safe" because the unknown is scary. I don't believe in Bigfoot, and it ultimately just comes down to the fact that I have no reason to. I've never understood the whole cryptid craze or the way people can base their entire lives around this one thing that can't be proven. It's just not something I could ever understand or get invested in. My father on the other hand will spend hours watching those bigfoot shows on the history channel (why are they on there again?) and get so animated about how it's "totally 100% real" and I'm just like... okay, so let's say you're right and bigfoot is real. Now what? Nothing happens, nobody's life changes either way, lol. idk. Thanks to Sass for the giveaway regardless!

I believe they are real and most of them live in underground Cave's, they are stinky and scary looking but very intelligent life forms, they can communicate telepathically. They hide from people as much as possible because they understand their are a lot of crack head hunters who like to use gun toys for fun. Intelligent alien form? I dont think so, i think its our long long ago same family blood tree just chose to evolve in underground as we did on earth. Like in Alba past life they do come on surface once in a while, they for sure can sense and hide or feel when someone looking a them. Sometimes i wonder if we all had one life as a big foot before. I don't need the TFH membership, but im 99% on them existing because my best friend came into contact with one in the woods a few years back. Apparently they do this "mock charge" routine where they run at you and then when they get to you...nothing. He has a blurry recollection of it, but according to his memory, "something brown" charged down a hill, looking not at him, but down at the ground, the whole time. Then, as they seem to do, as it got closer, it disappeared but he could still HEAR the rustling of the leaves under its feet. He evacuated the scene and his next stop was my house, so it was fresh in his mind and he was TERRIFIED. His eyes told me he was being truthful. He never got a good look at it though, and he is a river dog type who hangs in the wilderness and is an arborist for a living, so its not like he had never been in these woods or had some woodsy paranoia or something. We actually just talked about this last night as i found a video of a mysterious shape (or lack thereof) rustling some ferns and passing through a couple of trees on a hunter's camera deep in the woods a couple of days ago. Super interesting. Besides that, some of them just get lost and die in the middle of nowhere i'm sure, but SOMETHING is up with the phenomenon of the massive amount of people who disappear from national parks. One minute a dad is talking to their kid and then they turn around and they have just disappeared...like smoke. Besides, I am of the opinion that what we DON'T know about this place dwarfs what we DO know in every instance. Thanks for being creative, gang.

The disappearing part is super weird, but bears do a fake charge to display dominance. Would explain the brown and charging at least. Bears definitely don’t disappear into thin air though lol.

Yes, I believe there’s a chance big foot exists. Maybe science will someday prove large apes are a common hallucination our brain conjures up.

If they do exist, they’re just like a North American ape with probably a long life span, family groups that travel long distances, obviously not densely populated.

Sure, it makes sense that it’s weird there’s no bones or proof, but maybe big foot knows something about free electricity, his fur develops it by rubbing it together. Government is keeping him down. People don’t think aliens as a concept is that ridiculous anymore, maybe the Bigfoot files are the next batch to get released.

And more than anything, people really need to start asking themselves the hard questions:

Do I even want to live in a world where big foot doesn’t exist?

No, I do not believe in Bigfoot. I wish I did, and that I had a better adult imagination. I think ideas like Bigfoot were more easier to believe a few decades ago, before we had drones and all. The PNW is so techy (compared to the rest of us) I really believe that they would have found him (or her!).

Hey everybody I wanted to share a little something neat that happened here on Double M recently (sorry, it’s not about Bigfoot).

I posted an ad in the Trading Post looking for a certain TFH strain that is no longer available (It’s the only strain that I’ve found that helps with my insomnia). A really kind member here responded and said he would send it to me but - he wouldn’t let me pay for it! He simply suggested for me to pay it forward. (Wow! thank you LuvndPeace )

So when I won TWO TFH raffle memberships I knew that I needed to give it to someone here in this wonderful community full of great people - this is my way of paying it forward.

I just have to say, it’s amazing to be a part of the TFH family. As we all know, their product is top notch plus Chris and Angie are such great people to do business with. Soon one of you guys will get to join the family as well!

Apparently they can manifest into 3d physical world, like the guy talked about they left foot print for him to see when he asked what size foot they had. Or he can see hands sticking out like from some kind of portal and dropping marbles. I never seen them but watched a bunch of spiritual speakers and all of them believe in them when asked about them. Dolphins and Horses are known to help kids with down syndromes. If you do research you will find it to be true. I think the biggest secret that is hidden from us is what our minds able to do and how it can affect people around us. Its very powerful but instead we eat junk and slave away for a nice car or house and eat everything on TV. I think this will change in the future and people will be more connected to each other spiritually once they understand all along we were in a trap matrix and by working harder to understand each other is the only way out. Sadly the bad side is winning, dividing us all in many different ways and putting labels on it.

Since I am a big Art Bell fan (RIP), I've heard a lot of stories about Sasquatch/Bigfoot. I have heard some wild stories of Bigfoot type humanoids throwing rocks at humans from cliffs overlooking a river while people were boating. I think there is a possibility of an unknown primate but not sure if I would classify it as a Sasquatch. I'm on the fence about this probably leaning against the idea.

Yes, although I’ve never encountered Bigfoot, I do believe there are a lot of creatures that are not fully discovered. I do watch a lot of documentaries on discovery and history channel so that may sway my opinion. I also believe in Aliens so why not Bigfoot.

Yes, the Sasquatch phenomena is a " real ' thing. Whether or not they are actual physical apelike hominids who have somehow remained hidden, along with physical evidence is another question . I am more inclined to move in the direction of writers like Jacques Vallee, Robert Anton Wilson , and , I guess Nick Redfern , that Sasquatch belongs in the "high strangeness" category along with UFO siting , faeries , other cryptids like the mothman, along with a handful of other phenomenon ,that indicate that people are witnessing either an inter-dimensional event that conforms to parameters that are set by the oberver - or even an earth based phenomena that is also able to change the way it manifests depending on it's own goals or the observers own experience . These events have commonalities that span the ages and suggest that the details evolve at the same pace as wichever particular culture is doing the observing . Just as In the case of UFO sightings being almost exactly the same as fairie or angel lore , updated for a culture that believes things in the sky must be metallic , Bigfoot sightings follow the same general mythology as the "Green Man" - wild man of the woods guardians of the forests , documented in many pagan myths. Something that has existed across cultures, in many different guises, and still pervasive today, is , arguably, more real than you or I .

There was a Bigfoot sighting in my little town of 250 people.

It was a dad and his two teenage kids driving home from the kids’ basketball practice after school, so it was starting to get dark out. Headlights on.

They were driving around 45 miles per hour so the sighting was quick but as they drove a curve in the road their headlights caught something odd. What they all saw was something brown and hairy trying to pretend to be a tree! He was standing next to a tree with one arm touching the trunk and the other arm sticking straight out and his head was tucked down under one of his arms with his eyes peeking out. They were going too fast to stop and by the time they realized what they had all seen, it was too late and they were too spooked to turn around.

Makes me laugh every time I think of Bigfoot pretending to be a tree.
