I am a lurker as well - long time reader here. Decided to make an account and finally post! After all of the changes on the subreddit, I was happy to finally find a place that is not censored and speak with people who get it. It seems few and far between where I'm at.

Hi! I'm relatively new to Kratom and have already bought too much. I'm glad Kratom has a long shelf life! So far, I've bought from Kat's, Fused Flora and Smiley. Waiting on orders from Benni's and MitraMan. My issues are some chronic pain but mainly sleep and anxiety. I deal with Adult ADD and depression- taking Wellbutrin daily. I've been a nurse for many years- too many injuries as a Psych nurse took their toll so I currently work as a Nurse Auditor for a healthcare corporation.

I'm a 31-year-old woman, and as I'm quick to say anywhere else, chronic pain is what brought me to kratom. After years of being mostly confined to my bed, with doctors unsure of what's causing said pain or how to treat it (tho the current guesses are "maybe something autoimmune" and "probably fibromyalgia"), I finally reached the point where I'm tired of lying around, unable to do even basic things like keeping my house clean or cooking a proper meal. I'm so glad to have something like this in my arsenal now.

This community is so much kinder than I expected it to be. I'm really happy to be here.

Just noticed this thread too! This forum, and kratom, legit saved my life. I’ve struggled with life long depression and have been seeing psychiatrists and therapists since I was 14. It’s improved, but only because I’ve learned to cope with it and all that came with it (anxiety, chronic fatigue, insomnia, RLS, drug addiction, etc). I basically resigned myself to that life. After a few months of kratom, I can honestly say this is the best I’ve felt in my life. Not just happy, but content. I told my psychiatrist about it and even referred him to this forum for information! All he knows is the reputation kratom has, but he also knows that everyone is different and as long as I’m happy and safe, he’s happy. I’ve been able to cut out a lot of medication and he’s intrigued by my results, I still see him regularly and have been able to pass on good information. I enjoy different strains but anything mood boosting is what I search for. I’ve been miserable for so long it’s amazing to have life finally opened! Thank you all!

I have had these same basic experiences with my doctors. Lack of care is what started me on the path of finding my own medicine.

Hello to you as well! I'm truly happy for you and everyone else in our position who manages to find this medicine. I was in a very dark place mentally and emotionally before I saw a random reddit comment that mentioned it. Like 2 days of research later I had placed an order.

I could really cry at how frustrating the path here has been, and also at how much relief I get from kratom. It is - without exaggeration - life changing!

Hi all, been here for a minute and just noticed this thread. I am so greatful for all the awesome people here. The kratom world is a very kind one. I quit drinking and then found kratom and it made a world of difference. At the time I had no idea it offered up so many benifits. Since diving in my arthritis pain is nearly gone, my anxiety is kept at bay, my moods are much better and I am finally getting sleep. Happy to share this wonderful plant!

I've been sober from alcohol for over 800 days now.
The kratom did its job, for me.

Fascinating stuff. Anyway, sorry for rambling, I'm fossiled right now.

Honestly I didn't even realize this place existed and that it was a great resource when trying to learn more about kratom but I'm hoping to get more involved with community with the new amount of time on my hands. I suffer from chronic health conditions and kratom has been helping me manage them a lot better than a lot of medications that I used to take. Happy to be here.

If you email "Benni", his email is on his site, he'll send you a Discord link or invite. I joined a couple years ago but could never figure it out, I got some comments and couldn't find them or how to reply lol. He even tried to help to no avail, probably didn't go on often enough or try hard enough. I was getting email notifications for awhile, maybe I'm not even on there anymore. I didn't really like mewe either. Luckily this MM is more user friendly IMO.
