A quick tip when buying kratom online
Hi there! I noticed some vendors don't update their product picture of the website. So when you are looking for a kratom you are looking pictures propably 4-5 years before. Why vendors don't upload fresh picture of the current batch?
You can right click on the picture and open in new tab, so the url usually says when the picture was uploaded like this " wp-content/uploads/2013/02/"
So the kratom you are looking at on the picture is at least 10 years old. I think that's just not fair.
I know the looks has nothing to do with quality, but it usually a starter point (what else could be when buying online???). How someone could choose a kratom online when all the pictures are from ages ago, propably from other sites, or color manipulated?
Also one tip is to right click on image and reverse search on google. So you can see which other site uses that picture.
I usually try to avoid vendors which solds all kinds of stuff, strains you never heard of, funny and creative strain names ... I usually search vendors with basic selection, just the classics not 50+ bs strain list with all kinds of colors and names you never heard of.
I also don't read reviews about the quality, they are usually useless ... unfortunately. Online reviews are totally useless ., but that's just my opinion. Because maybe they received a good batch, but you will receive a different one. Also the effects are varies from person to person.
So watch out because there are a lot of shady sites when it comes to online kratom order. You can easily burn your money and getting low quality kratom.
Ordering online is 80% luck. It will be like this when constant genuine lab tests will be the norm for all the products vendors selling online. Not forged lab tests and not lab tests from hundred years ago ... I know it's expensive, but ordering from 100 places playing the lottery is expensive too.

This is good advice for people buying bulk. Fortunately, most of the vendors talked about DoubleM are reputable (and many don’t even have a traditional website or post pictures of their leaf).

I think its a good idea, it might be a little work going online and getting 4k camera that way people can zoom in on kratom and look at what they are getting, always have a full date time stamp on photo corner as well. Honestly most new phones can take super clean pictures, i dont think there should be be an excuse not able to take a picture of a batch up close, takes few seconds. I sometimes look at pictures, like if its red in color or bright green, i mean people look at pictures for different reasons and we all know slight color change means something about that batch.

Yes! Always check the image link which on the site. This way once i found out the image they uploaded claiming it's KRATOM, instead it was MORINGA powder. And they looks pretty much the same on picture. So i avoided that shop.NiqueKristan wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 7:07 am This is good advice for people buying bulk. Would you call this good quality kratom? Well ... it's moringa powder, nothing has to do with kratom.

Wow, that’s crazy!! I can’t believe that they posted a picture of moringa and would have probably fooled most people. I think the fact that you figured it out is incredibly clever.Rannek wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 10:11 amYes! Always check the image link which on the site. How does bulk vs small batch look like in EU? Do nearly all of the vendors have websites and pictures of their leaf?

All the pictures will look about the same, I don't pay much attention to them for powdered kratom. I think most don't. Maybe why they don't bother. It's plant powder
.
Now buds like cannabis then yes I'd look at pics imo

Small batch orders are mostly fine, there are very few big vendors in the EU, so not many options. I bet they get their kratom from the same source, because the quality is the same everywhere. A few vendors have fresh pictures, and the other half have pictures from 10 years ago.
USA has a tons of more options if you want kratom.

Re: A quick tip when buying kratom online
I used to look at pictures until I took a good look at the color range in my own stash. My favorites range in color from bright green to forest green to dull, army green. The only thing my favorites had in common were that they were technically all green.
Fomo gets expensive very quickly. I learned that my first year of taking Kratom. So I found 2 vendors, TFH and Rhino that both work extremely well for me and I stick with them. I think finding vendors that work for you and that you trust completely is the key

It's easy to say "find a good vendor" when you are from the USA and have tons of different vendors and options (Including good ones like TFH). And USA is the largest importer of kratom at the moment. In Europe there is a lot less options to choose from vendors which is legit and not shady.MycatTimmy wrote: ↑Sun Mar 13, 2022 11:52 am I used to look at pictures until I took a good look at the color range in my own stash. Re: A quick tip when buying kratom online
There was a vendor a few years back, Speciosa Life, that took beautiful, true color pix of each batch for his website.
I wonder whatever happened to them? We had just discovered them, they had at least one great batch (Red Bali 2) and then they were gone. Poof!

Re: A quick tip when buying kratom online
This is a good point... Very good actually. Only 40 "popular" vendors X 15 batches = 600 current batches for sale. And we KNOW the names are Fake.Rannek wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 5:03 am ... For benefit of any noobs here... Let's say it again: Batches and Colors - NOT "strains and veins".
So many have figured out, the green-est and fresh-est powder is best, Generally speaking. Colors ARE important! I see vendors answering questions about, this Red batch is Green color... Customers asking "Do you have any Green Reds?" lol... Can just ONE vendor, show a current pic of their kratom ? Is that too much to ask ?? Maybe. Honestly I was hoping that Herbal-RVA would BE that 1 vendor. But I used your method for their current LINK: Herbal RVA Premium Maeng Da - there's a current Lab Test. 3-10-22. Great! But the image is... from 2017 ? By your method anyway. (Wow, this IS a strong fresh batch of PMD!)
Another good point... you're batting 100% today my friend. Yes. Sorry I gotta agree. 1- Different batch, 2- People are different, and don't forget 3- Anonymous Shill reviews... and 4- Once again. 600 Batches currently for sale from popular vendors. Who has compared all 600 ? Right. Nobody.I also don't read reviews about the quality, they are usually useless ... unfortunately. Online Reviews are totally useless ., but that's just my opinion. Because maybe they received a good batch, but you will receive a different one. Also the effects are varies from person to person.
With Kratom, there is Truth -vs- BS (Names and "Reds") and, there is Common Sense. Buy from professional vendors who Import Direct.. And definitely, Do Not get caught up in FOMO, anonymous folks on the Internet bragging about their silly "strains" & My strain's better than Your strain, etc... Sadly it's like 90% of what you Read on the Internet about Kratom is BS.

If there is a lab test that's a better indication of the quality than just the image itself. Of course there aren't any 100% method you can decide quality online. Only real way to test is to buy it and try it. (Unfortunately).
I am just trying to minimize my losses, and i try to watch every detail (Like image upload dates, color and texture, price, lab tests, etc.) every little detail. And i try to figure out how to buy good quality without burning money.
This does not mean vendors with old product pictures can't be good. They can be good of course. As vendors with fresh pictures can be bad too.
It is like a dating site ... when you are on dating sites you upload fresh pictures of yourself, right? No one is interested of your old pictures. This does not mean that relationship could not work out, but still, you get my point
Of course the url method is just a rough estimation of the image date, if they changed the picture, not reuploaded a new one, Wordpress will not create a new URL for it(so it is possible you are looking for a new image, but the url says it is older). The true image date would be EXIF data if there are any EXIF on the picture.
